Omar Al Olama, UAE State Minister of AI & Digital Economy, believes that concerns about sensitive chip technology moving from the Middle East and into China are justified. The minister also commented on the UAE's ambitions for semiconductors production as well as the country's plan to work more closely with OpenAI.
