You guys are an adorable and fun couple! ^_^ This was a pretty fun video and so interesting seeing some parts of Dubai and what a nice view of the sand dunes from the pool. I don't blame you about that cat, as much as I♥animals and normally do well with them, I've had some bad experiences with some cats despite being as kind and caring towards them as I can. I think it's more to do with their fear and territorial inclinations.

@@verteupI think what this person is getting at is the barbaric labour laws (or lack of) that people have to suffer in the USA. I can’t pretend to know what it’s like first hand, but I have a couple of friends in Michigan that have given me the run down. Basically it’s work or die. I’m Scottish. We are very hardworking too but enjoy our leisure time and trips abroad and we are pushed to do so. The geographical position of the UK allows us to travel to many different countries quickly and cheaply. So we do. A lot. In the UK we get 28 mandatory holiday days, to take whenever we like throughout the year. It’s the law. But you can get much much more than that. I only work 3 months out of the year because of my shifts. I do 4 on 4 off 12hr nightshifts, at a gas plant. So across the year without holidays I’d work around 6 months. When I want a week off, 4 is deducted from my allocated 28, but I get 12, because of my 4 days weekends either side. So if I take all of my days in 4 day instalments but getting 12 off, that actually gives me 84 days off. Leaving me only working for about 3 months across the year. If you’re sick, let’s say you break your leg, my job will pay me in full upto 3 months. I could genuinely not work for one entire year and still be paid every week. Day or two off for the shifts, fully paid. Go in a coma for 2 months, fully paid. I was breaking this down to my American friends and they were completely blown away. They said that just does not exist over there. They were saying if their life was like that they’d probably use the other 9 months working more. Got to respect the grind. Personally, I enjoy my leisure far too much for that. One of those guys has worked 7 days for the last 3 weeks straight with no day off in sight yet. That blows me away. How are you supposed to have a life? Don’t even know why I’m rambling away here lol just wanted to jot down my thoughts😆 My American brothers and sisters need to learn how to relax!😎 can’t be “balling” with no time to spend your money😉
@@skooby95It's true. Being in the Northeast USA I can confirm. It's work or die because you're always a knife edge away from financial ruin because of how expensive everything is. Even basic human essentials are expensive. As for our work culture, it's horrible. You get 1-2 weeks of vacation a year (depending on where you work), and only 40 hours each of PTO and sick pay. Even then, you have to accumilate them and you're expected not to use them, and then you're expected to come to work even if you're injured or sick anyway.
Kurt you should visit Trinidad and Tobago sometime. It’s one country but two islands. You’ll love it! It’s right off the coast of Venezuela. The culture is a mixture of Indian, African, and Chinese heritage. Tobago has most of the beautiful resorts and beaches but Trinidad has some amazing beaches as well. The food is spectacular also.
@@Peter-88 There’s crime everywhere. Caribbean countries like Trinidad and Jamaica have high crime rates but that doesn’t make the environment of the country any less beautiful. Wherever there’s poverty crime will always exist. Kurt has been to countries like Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico, and Haiti that are known for their crime rates. Did that stop him from enjoying himself? No.
@@marcoscasado8698 Sure if you’re into nauseating opulence and camels then Dubai is your town. But to me it’s a monument to pointless cruelty and a terrible attitude towards humanity as a whole. It’s literally built by slaves, but hey, look at the fancy aquarium and the golden toilets. Did you know that the Burj Khalifa doesn’t even have working sewers? They have a septic tank underneath it and have to transport the waste with trucks each day to keep it from not exploding. Their skyline would erupt in a massive fountain of human feces without that endless line of trucks. Now THAT would be a sight worth seeing…. preferably from space.

Not dropping off somewhere random, trying to fight of people that only ask for money or having to always keep looking over his shoulder to not get scammed or w/e but he's just enjoying himself and his girlfriend in the UAE - in a beautiful suite, enjoying "time off" or his time. He's obviously still working since he's filming it etc. but it doesn't come with all the stress and headaches attached to it like his other vlogs sometimes have/do.
I liked him better when his videos weren't about exploiting his extravagant lifestyle, but more about connecting with the average humans in local space. YT money I guess, yaay /s
