Well that was well worth watching, had this for 3-4 months, I'm now going to get a lot more out of it, best demo on YT & I have seen a few. Thank you for showing all settings. Going home to use these tonight.
Just bought this pedal today, and while I wait for it to arrive, I've been watching these types of demo review videos. I've watched over 10 so far, but your demo blows the other videos out of the water. Your playing is beautiful, too! I feel so relaxed and drowsy listening to you play.
This is by far the best guide to this pedal I have seen. Same for the starlight. I own all the UAFX pedals and thought I understood them - I now understand these 2 a lot more. Universal Audio should take note of your channel and send you all their pedals for you to demo! Thanks so much and great work, keep it up!
Great great review, and Ive seen a lot of reviews of This pedal! Ir really shows how each button effect the sound. Great detail with all the text written!
Great demo. Thanks. Was wondering if this reverb is Analo to Digital- Digital to Analog method (as Walrus R1) or it’s just a regular algorithm? Thanks!
Man this is definitely the best demo of the pedal I have seen yet! Your playing is very tasteful and the reverbs in here sound amazing. I just ordered it from Sweetwater earlier today and came across your video of it. Thanks for the very informative video on just showcasing the pedal.
Sounds good, Andrew! I do enjoy my Golden very much. It's suprising how modern it can sound with the 80's reverbs. I guess the circle is about to close again. All the best!
pity you didnt crank the constant density algo. most demos missunderstood this one. its one of the most beautiful algos on original. meant for vangelis like long scifi atmospheres and humongous pad trails, not for short subtle spaces. as of yet, nobody has made a decent demo of it. i am curious how well has uafx pulled this one off, since 224 hall algo is pretty great.
Thanks for this video. It's such a good reverb, makes it sound like an realistic studio recording. But your demo also shows you can dail it in to do a more non-realistic - but very much atmospheric - reverb effect. I even like how they did the modulation. In other reverb pedals it very pronounced where here it's more subtle and ballanced with the reverb, add just that amount of character without taking away from the reverb. I really like your playing! and dialed in demonstration of what the pedal can do. Love that plate-tip you mention at 10:10. really nice.' Now im really curious how this pedal would do in an comparison with the Fender hammertone Reverb.
Just got it. It's going back. Is it a great Reverb- YES. However I did not realize just how very close my Flint compares to it. I only use mostly basic settings. I actually don't like the whacky sounds or too much decay. The Flint, side by side held it's own quite well. In some cases I preferred it. And the Flint has Trem. If I already had a separate tremolo and only needed Reverb I would probably grab one. I got it used for $199 so the price was right. I like how it looks and wanted to love it. I LIKED it only. Also, I tried using both at the same time (stacking) however the result was nothing great- too much Reverb really. So, I will save $200 and put it towards a Volume and maybe a good Fuzz pedal. So far my favorite Delay is the Boss DD-8 in case anyone is looking...and Delay goes before Reverb.
