Bought the transparent Plyo. Excellent purchase the two best points of this case being its non-slip grippability and above average side buttons

Are you talking about the top and bottom lip? The bottom/top just a tad bit loose but yet snug as well. I have no complaints whatsoever 👍 I've been using for a while and I love it.

Will the magsafe work with typical circle ones? Or only with uag magsafe accessories?

It is Grippy, but that's also subjective answer... What's really good and grippy for me may not be for you? But in my opinion it definitely is grippy.
