I think you summed it up really well! 😁👍🏼👍🏼 I’m not even close to Uamee’s target audience (50-ish mom in Florida USA) but I really enjoy many of the tracks, and I agree: the range of topics keeps it fun and fresh! Also @uamee I’m a fan of Boris, who led me here, and I love when there’s a Uamee x Boris collab)))

uamee strays too much from slavic hardbass, which might partly be fact that the guy doesnt even have slavic roots as far as i know, i dont like how elongated the genre has been getting, a normal fan wouldnt care and stick to the normal stuff but its still odd beacuse it seems like no one makes good classic hardbass these days, i dont wanna be a full on purist but goddamn, were way past golden age, никакого уважения к славянам после того, как эти мошенники взяли бразды правления в свои руки, борис, алан ацтеки не имеют и капли славянской крови, а их творения одинаковые.

@@misterhuman895 I think that can be said about many genres of music. But one of the beauties of music is that it is also ever evolving and ever encompassing. It trancends boundaries and languages in a way that nothing else can! And, if you feel that classic harbass is changing too much and there is too little of the origination point, then be the change you want to see. What is stopping you from making your own? A more traditional sound! There is always an audience, even if that audience is small now (another beauty of music is that there is always someone who is willing to listen). Though I don't think I can agree with your assumption of a lack of "slavicness' and I don't think it's necessary to make those assumptions. Especially since the history of the Slav's is so widespread across Eurasia and cannot be culturally or genetically pinned down to any one thing. You don't know these people you criticise, you don't know their heritage any more than I do. We shouldn't assign labels based on shallow representations or personal disagreements with perceived ideology, location or representation. I wish you well friend. I can tell you why. I'm French Canadian and I saw a report on the war in Ukraine on CBC. They talked about hardbass , a blend of "nostalgia of the USSR, Russian Patriotism and an agenda the convince the youth that the Soviet Union was great and Staline a hero". I will admit that some song don't play anymore here. As NATO country they hate Russia. And that's the problem. If someone with high intellect don't believe TV and listen to it, will the algorithm give the video where Uamee says he's never gonna get a Ru Visa again and Boris saying "Visit Latvia, is gud" or "I was born in Russia" from Karaté or "This is Russian winter not Ruski Pop" From Boris. And anyway those of us who understand things at the second or third level are a minority. The majority believe anything and doesn't have enough general culture to understand jokes and they see it as a provoc. And trust me I feel ya. At least giving 5 bucks a month to my Uamee is not that big but if we all do it, some creators become independant.

@@Hellpharmacist1 I live in Ontario and yeah I get what you are saying. Logically, it makes sense for this music to die in this time. It's hard to convince people its not what they think it is. Music is much more than the sterotypes people have of it. I'm going to try right now to find a way to support Uamee and whover else I can.

@@Hellpharmacist1 verrry real comment! as i continue to delve deeper into learning more about the history, cultural influences and surrounding community of hardbass, the provocative political sentiments promoted particularly in its infancy by djs and the small community were extreme and callous even to hardbass fans like myself, and because of that i definitely do understand the caution that many unaffiliated listeners express during current times although i do see present-day hardbass producers have been making a notable effort towards diversifying the countries represented in its music and seem to be moving towards a "one world, one nation" sentiment the same way other edm communities did during times of local, political and international conflict such as how gabber, acid house and surrounding genres did around the fall of the berlin wall, american disco communities throughout the 70s, 80s and 90s during the black and queer liberation movements, or 'P.L.U.R.' establishing itself in reaction to violence and antisocial activity amongst ravers in the late 90s and early 00s! i believe that so much charm and character comes from hardbass playing with the stereotypical patriotic gopnik image, i think it can still be held dear while we also create a more vocally welcoming space for other nationalities, it is just a shame that in these insecure times that playful patriotism and jabs at ones own country (i think of "party in palace" as an example) can be very easily taken as aggression or endorsement of the actions of your country's governing bodies, and i hope this new streak of a much more open-border accepting attitude will allow for more people to see hardbass is not just "an agenda to convince the youth"! this comment became much longer than i anticipated, i apologize for the wall of text.... x)

Its actuslly cause yt is demonotizing anything seen as slavic or russian rn . Like i do not even get notice of a new life of boris vid who ive been following for years now

You make a good point Volk, and like Uamee himself said, this war didn't help it either. I lost hardbass when I got out of high-school but I got back into it after Puck Footin and I'm quite happy it's now my regular work music, I get so much done to it. You could say its exactly what the doctor ordered 🤣

Please don't do that, their tracks are cringe and there are way better and innovative producers who would represent the genre better
