Been getting too many comments about using AI. For over a year, AI has been my go-to for visuals as my music's popularity dropped. Since Russia's Ukraine attack, interest in Hardbass music waned, impacting my views and engagement. But I'm not one to complain; people come for music, not complaints. To make ends meet, I've taken on side hustles and created other projects. I have a family to take care off and bills to pay. Recent releases like "I'LL SQUEEZE YOU" (my best performing song in the past 6 months) earned - €27.79 in ad revenue and €16.26 in fan support, but when you factor in time spent, it's not much. Like €3 euros per hour before tax. I don't like talking about negative stuff or sound ungrateful complaining about one of the most privileged jobs in the world - a full time RU-vidr. I've resorted to AI because artists can't work for "promotion/exposure" with my current numbers and I can't pay for their services because my numbers don't generate the revenue, a catch-22. I've faced a dilemma: experiment to attract new viewers while cutting costs or bid farewell to Hardbass and focus on revenue-generating content. For now I'm doing the former, later I'll maybe do the latter. As for this video, it's my spin on "planet mountain dew" (look it up). While I usually *Despise* AI art, this is a perfectly reasonable and acceptable use for it. Feels like Algorithm is supressing any content related to Eastern Europe due to the war, which is BS because you deserve wayyy more than 27 fucking euros for what you make. If it makes ends meet, there is no problem and any haters can fuck right off ❤
I don't see any problem in using AI art for this, who'd expect a one man project to product their own music visuals/videos from scratch? It fits the theme, it's not pretending to be something it's not, and it's a nice surreal vibe. More importantly, great to hear Sweetlana again, she's got a really distinctive voice.
I don't judge you; I also struggle to support a family in these trying times; I have been working a job that I don't love and seems a waste of my life just to take care of them, but we do what we can to take care of them, because that is what matters most! 😎
Uamee out here dealing crack 💀💀 But no, joking aside, it is astronomically unfair that music as good as yours with a community this strong goes so underappreciated and under compensated. The side of you we see in your streams and in your music must be one hell of a mask (no offense meant at all) for the reality of the situation that you find yourself in with how little you make. I couldn't imagine any job here in the US that would pay out $3/hr, even waitresses that make tips are earning *at least* $7/hr, and that's excluding the tips they make that can be rather generous. Making ends meet in this world is already a difficult task, but to have a full time job that demands in excess of 40hours a week which isn't compensated properly must be exhausting, no matter how much you love what you do. I personally hope that you're able to keep making Hardbass. You're my favourite composer in this music scene, and it's been that way since 2017. I remember when Flash Mob was uploaded, it was just the most insane (in a great way) piece of music I had ever heard, and I've listened to your music almost exclusively almost every single day. I know these words of mine can't make up for what is essentially financial loss on your side, but I very much hope that soon you are able to get the revenue that you deserve out of doing what you love. You can tell who are actually fans and who arent. The ones who are actual fans will listen to the music and enjoy it for what it is, great music by a truly talented individual and on the other hand you have the posers who just "OmG AI ArT EeEWw" if the art is more important than the actual content of the video go to an art museum
100% Well said my friend. I myself think the AI art works perfectly with the video, the music is awesome (I wish it was longer and he makes more of this). I am afraid though that with the backlash the "AI" is getting, he won't make anymore of this kind-of music, such a shame really. Sigh :(

The AI art just adds to the uncanny feeling this song sets up. Interstellar, dystopian, space-age and steampunk all together with these haunting beats is something I can just listen, look at and shiver. It makes me feel awkward but good, relaxed but tense. It is a banger already and to be fair I like the video version better because of the AI art. The uncannyness of the AI art with this music is something else and it really fits here
This would be perfect to use in the Phantom Liberty DLC of Cyberpunk 2077, the Dark Atmosphere of it would be a perfect match for a fight or chase scene in the game.

Kinda sad. But I have to understand because I am well aware of the situation he is in. Hardbass creators are in a tough situation right now. They can no longer make money from the music (also videos) they want. Uamee even clearly stated this issue in his previous music. "Hardbass a crime?" So I think he is trying something completely new.
@@Waffle_Guarantee You actually hit the nail on the head here my friend, I've been experimenting a lot in the hopes of maybe something sticking and reigniting the channel / hardbass scene. Right now I cannot afford to commission anyone for art and I have to do my own side projects to keep doing music full time. It's either me making hardbass when I can and experimenting with new things like this video here. (Which is my take on the planet mountain dew meme.) Or just outright stopping to do uamee songs. I do not want to give up doing what I love, my solution for people who do not like the art is listen with their ears not eyes.

Uamee needs to feed this into the tone generator AI and make a 10 hour version (to allow him to make even more hardbass trax). This is such a great track!
