Definitely agree, I was playing this song Sweet Sensation just recently on Saturday 28 January 2023, one hour prior to my parents unveiling. Song always touched a nerve in my heart as I remember plying this beautiful song over 20 years ago when I also purchased the Cassette. I just wished that when UB40 tour New Zealand, that Wanganui is listed in their Itinerary. We do not get groups like UB40 opting to play in Wanganui, New Zealand.
UB40 kills this remake! Something funky must've been going on with the stage mix, I love Robin's face @ 1:29 ... then @ 2:35 you hear a small glitch in the recording, and Robin looks pissed as he turns his head quickly to give the evil eye to the sound guy! Lol

There are a few remakes of this song but nuthin beats this...why didnt Robin take ova as lead singer wen Ali left. These two brothers seeing them together singing in perfect Harmony brings back memories of why we fell in love with ub40.. #hopetoseethisagainoneday
Only guessing that, though Robin has a nice voice (and kind'a sexy!), it's probably not strong enough for lead vocals. Too bad, too; would have been good for the band.

Recuerdo cuando emigré a otro país en el '99 y escuchaba labor of love,especialmente este tema,cuántas "sensaciones",justamente,su música adormecía mis sentidos dulcemente y el destierro se hacía menos doloroso ( o mas?) Y era lo que necesitaba en ese momento!!
ali campbell + ub40 are ub40 both on there own are half of what we see in this video... they are stronger together as a whole unit, ali's voice is distinct but without the others to he loses something, although as FreeBBWDates said with ali in the band the band are just a band duncan can no way replace ali, it is a joke that they gave him the lead role, they are making a mockery of all ub40's sucess the guy cant sing for toffee.
Reminds me of a lad called Chris from the early-mid 80s he used to sing this to me ,shame I can't remember he's second name id love to catch up and apologize for the way I treated him he was a luvly lad from somewhere in bolton
long time back when i was a kid i buyed this album without knowing whats in there and am in love with it ever since and also this album reminds me of my first love who dosent even know that i loved her .........................
