Saludos from Bogotá,Colombia,Colombia .🎸🎼😎👍🎹🎺🇨🇴
Nailed it! The aeolian scale, melancholic and catchy. I was into Romanticism Lit _the song has nothing to do with 19th C except in the cadence_ when they released it and somehow I related both. My favourite.
mine too and I like it because its an actual UB40 song not a sellout cover song which they often made bank on and ruined... they should've backed themselves more often with their own compositions
😊 I have loved UB40 since my sister Sharon would listen to it and I would say why do you listen to things that make you cry, she said "you will find out when you get older" it's my life in music!! Xxx 😢
Hard to believe it's been 30 years since we first heard this & the rest of the brilliant ub40 album. Remember buying it as if it was only yesterday. How time flies by !!! Still never tire of listening to the album, but in particular this one. My favourite !!!
These boys made some cracking music and this song is a typical example of this.Very British like madness and the specials .It’s strange really that multi cultural bands back then were very British ,even more so than today.I guess the bands I refer to like UB40 weren’t trying to be American.Brilliant band and such a pity it all ended the way it has.The musical legacy lives on regardless.
When they came to Chile in 1989, I practically did not know them and I left the TV on walking through the house as they passed by, they were playing this song and I was hypnotized.
If you all really love UB40 please let Birmingham City Council know that you want them to receive their rightful star on the Birmingham Broad Street Walk Of Fame that has been denied to them for far too long now by the Council and this is disgusting considering how important they are to Birmingham to Brummie history and it's musical cultural scene. It's high time they were properly honoured!
For all UB40 fans this is definitely one of their best tracks. And for most men who thought they were happily in a relationship, the lyrics of this song will definitely ring true. RIP Astro and Brian Travers
Second best. The best is Food for Thought, imo. Unless you prefer pop rather than reggae... Btw, according to ranker.com the best UB40's song is Red Red Wine, Food for Though has 13th position while Where Did I Go Wrong is far, far behind (56th). Which only proves people know shit. An average music consumer has a bad taste for music and loves crap. But this doesn't apply just to the music. An average person loves to read, watch, eat .... JUNK. This explains the popularity of yellow press, stupid reality shows and junk food. Sadly, but that's the way it is. I don't like any of this. You can call me an elitist, arrogant or a pompous arse but I don't give a shit.
My dad left my mom when I was a baby… long story short ....I love this and my mom says it was his favourite band. Amazingly it has become mine too.... without his influence it’s crazy!!!
I was brought up with ub40 as a kid, I remember the songs from my early years, I’m mixed raced my mother was a single mother without out my dad as he lived in Jamaica, I’m seeing my dad for the first time in 11 years in 3 weeks. UB40 reminds me of the early days when I was brought up in Jamaica
