Hi friends! I filmed this UBC campus tour back in February during reading break. I know a lot of you are probably not able to have an in person campus tour (especially right now!), and I really hope that this is helpful to you! The University of British Columbia campus is really big so I wasn’t able to show you all of it but I tried to show you most of the main areas. You are are so lucky you have no idea! When my daughter was UBC Van accepted Applied Science and Engineering UBC Van campus I thought I will have a moment on heaven! Year (sure years) later I still feel the same way!! Congratulations on you achievement as this school to graduate is a life time ticket! We (me and my daughter) are successful and not rich!

I just want to say thank you for this video. I've been sick for almost 7 years, so my university experience has been on hold. It looks like I've recovered enough to maybe go to UBC next September and I've been chatting with the advisor. But it's been so difficult to keep my chin up and be excited. This video made me feel excited again for the first time in a long while. I know this seems like something small or silly, but it means everything to me to be able to feel like that again. It's very fascinating for me to see your current-day depiction of the campus, Lina.. nice work (god I was from yr 2000, sshh we're gonna scare some peoples! since we only used cellphones to talk and maybe text.. . we had long lineup queues in libraries just to use email terminals- you'd be lucky if you ran into a newer cpu with Netscape navigator

Of course this vid gets recommended to me when I would usually be heading back to UBC but won’t because of online classes. Im beginning my final year and as I’m seeing these buildings that had become apart of my everyday these past couple years, all of sudden I realize how much I’m going to miss this campus. ahhh you're so so welcome! I also noticed when looking up tours there weren't a lot of longer ones so thought I would make one! and if you want res tours I do have one for Ponderosa Commons (Cedar House), and one for Gage Residence (Gage Apartments), and not exactly a tour but you'll be able to see some of Orchard Commons in one of my move-in vlogs - all of those videos are in the playlist I linked in the description! hope they're also helpful to you :)

Jeerd Ace they are both really well regarded! I know that Sauder was ranked higher by McCleans this year if that means anything to you. I personally prefer UBC because it think it has a much better community thank UofT but that is just based on what I have heard from others, not personal experience:)

tan solo de imaginar que uno puede llegar a tomar alguna clase en esos auditorios o estudiar en una mesa viendo la universidad tan bella que es parece solo estar en los sueños, sin embargo nada es imposible en la vida. Crear nuestras posibilidades para poder llegar a esa gran meta que es compartir ese espacio con tanta gente que le apasione estudiar. Year 1999 grad of UBC Commerce (Sauder). I've been to a lots of different colleges/universities around the world after my graduation for work related projects. There are lots of good institutions such as Ivy Leagues, ones in Europe and Asia , however, UBC is by far the best post-secondary experience one can ever have...(BTW, 4 years in UBC will go super fast...time flies...its been over 20 years wow).
