The Aeta Farmers usually plant ube and other root crops all year round to support their daily needs however, some traders took advantage by buying their harvest at the very low price.
With the help of Mr. Christopher Gomez, Chairperson of Operation Share a Blessing the parent organization of Cabalen Aeta Farmers and Partners and the members of their organization, they initiated to buy the ube and other products of the Aeta farmers in a competitive market price and sell to their regular customers weekly. And the extra income generated will be used to finance the operations and activities of their organization that helps the Aeta community in Pampanga and neighboring provinces.
