Why does'nt someone start a class action suit against Uber. The fact that they provide no link to manage one's account indicates their devious intentions. I am ready to sign up to sue Uber. Any lawyers out there?
Thanks Aris for sharing this. If i wanted to be a naive customer I would say that it is a bug and they will fix it. If I wanted to be sincere to myself I would say that big companies are getting greedier. Their strategy is constantly getting tricks around user interaction and try to charge even small portions of someone's daily income step by step without the person noticing (because they are such petty charges). Shame on Uber and shame on companies that share the same methods. We should all be alerted and make these findings go viral. We have to give the companies the harsh reaction that we are not sheep.

I found your video after being unknowingly charged by Uber through my PayPal to the tune of $349.65! I am pissed 😡 I filed a complaint with the BBB and contacted PayPal about the charges after getting nowhere with Uber. This is absolutely disgusting 🤮
Sorry to be a bit negative, but Uber's whole business model is to do its best to be on the edge of the laws, and if they do cross into the "other" side, then to try to cover up their tracks. So what's happening shouldn't be much of a surprise.
I recently got a 6 month free membership through a promotion with my credit card, and I just checked both the uber app and the uber eats app and the option to end membership is there on both apps. Maybe this is actually a bug or maybe they are doing shady things in different countries. I will keep tabs on it and update my comment in the coming months if the option goes away.
Typical Silicon Valley company they make it extremely easy to sign up but they make his hard as I possibly can so you don't cancel the subscription at what point do governments have to get involved to protect everyone

Very bad company same as the rest of them to be honest. They have a lazy customer base so the chances are they will continue their shady practices and go unscaved
Uber sucks. Eventually the free market takes care of these shady operations… usually. 😬 (They tend to dig their own graves. Turns out they can only survive off the willing patronage of their customers. Eventually good will runs out.)
I have just subscribed to Uber one. Thinking I could get one of the money of deals and it looks the same unless I missed something. But the reason I’m commenting is I managed to subscribe just as quickly. Hoping it hasn’t taken any money.
