A Live Look at the trips on Uber and Uber Eats I was sent on a Concert Event Night in Saint Louis, Mo on 8/13/2024 #uber #rideshare #uberdriver #ubereats #ubereatsorder #ridesharedriver
I’m in San Antonio, TX and will do drop offs to events but not pick ups lol. It’s nuts afterwards trying to find passengers, especially when they’ve been drinking. Omg, during Fiesta is insane! lol! Great video🙏🏼😊
Glory days of Uber are long gone. Back during the Covid days it was typical to make $300-$400 every single day. Also there were surges on Friday and Saturday night that would if you were willing to stay out till close get you closer to $500 a night. I’m talking about the Milwaukee market. Those days are gone. On top of that, we don’t even get to see where we’re going or what’s the trip is going to be in Milwaukee
I know a LOT of people in LA will call the uber and then negotiate cash rate. Im not saying for anyonw to do this but they used to have an app that would pair you with riders and then you made 90 perfent of negotiated fare
Here's how you use uber/lyft to make money at concerts or other big events. Step #1: Get off the apps. Drive private. Step #2: If you can, book yourself at an hourly rate for most (if not all) of the night. Step #3: Know your venue, don't get yourself stuck in venue traffic. Step #4: Know your venue, stage in parking lots close to the venue where people leaving will congregate (but not so close to get stuck in venue traffic, see Step #3). Step #5: Have signage visible. Your uber/lyft decals. Get one or two of the programmable LED signs. Step #6: Sign up with all the payment services. Including Square (or something similar) so you can physically swipe cards. Profit. If you're gonna insist on driving on-app and have an XL vehicle, for the love of god, turn of X.
Those surges blow 😂 Must of not been anyone too important with only throwing you $3 surges lol 😢 When Kenny Chesney played Tampa, surges were $30. I made $100 in less than 2 hours. The cops that direct Uber/Lyft pick-up zones are total dicks. But the people standing waiting will sometimes come up and ask you to drive them if you got lit Uber sign in your vehicle. And the cash offers I've had were enough for me think about canceling the current rides... 😊
I have only done wrestlemania as a uber driver, it was straight banging early in the day with huge surges, but as it got closer to the event the traffic became to much.
Just a regular Saturday night I. A university town is definitely worth it. Did 25 rides 168 miles $364.00. 7:30pm to 3:00am. Thursday and Friday nights were pretty good too. 🎉So happy Fall Semester has started!! Oh yes, NO food delivery EVER.
Yeah. You gotta be in a place where you can zoom in and out without back to back congestion. Now had you been at one of the hotels close and it not been packed bumper to bumper..... Quite a few of those would have been pretty damn good money.
I’m in STL: I never turn on Uber unless the it’s a short wait or surge at Lambert. It doesn’t happen often anymore but when it does, you can bank. Don’t forget this aspect of rideshare…..Tips can be fat for a pleasant driver with good conversation.
I've done a pickup before at that exact venue Hollywood casino amplitheater, it was kinda a nightmare like you had to drive all around with workers pointing to where you should go and they kinda had an attitude 😂 the pay was kinda worth it though, I think I made something around $30 and it took like 45 mins but it was an absolute nightmare to get in and out 😂😂😂.
Trip radar is my friend at night. I live at the end of a peninsula hanging out in the Long Island Sound where there’s nothing. Pays me well to drive home
Those trips sucks at times. I picked up 2 people from a soccer event..got stuck in the after even traffic for 30 minutes with the 2 in my car,and the cost was 10 bucks for 2 people that sucked. 3 miles maybe. I hate rideshare, I picked up 5 people going 2 miles 5 bucks. You think you're picking up 1 person but when you get to the pickup spot there's 5 people waiting for you, rideshare suck😭😭😭
The 3 biggest keys to profiting at big events are: (1) Don't drive on-app. Drive private. (2) Don't get yourself caught up in venue traffic (work the periphery). (3) Know how much people are willing to pay. (hint: it's a lot more than you probably think).
WOWWWW I thought ride share would be banging out more dollars per offer as opposed to food delivery, but looks like it’s the same shit pay wise, except you’re transferring people instead of cholesterol. Interesting
