Ubisoft is so pathetic that they can't even do stealth right anymore. A genre that launched their success into hyperspeed. That they helped redefine. This should be their comfort zone, and they faceplanted. That's just... embarrassing.
It’s sad. They bastardized almost every single franchise, if not every single one, that had the potential to continuously expand and build upon their arsenal with innovative mechanics and story telling, everything. Even connect several “universes” if done well. They just added nonsense and random ingredients to an ideal dessert recipe- and in fact progressively get cheaper ingredients per dessert-and then have the audacity to want just as much if not more for the next set of desserts, depending on the additional toppings (editions). Sprinkles cost extra after you’re already eating (micro-transactions). Now I’m hungry
Splinter Cell. Ghost Recon. Rainbow Six. And later the first two Assassin's Creed. All used to be difficult, innovative, genre defining stealth franchises, and all of them have either been scrapped or turned to absolute slop. Looking at modern Ubisoft is just a constant reminder of how great they used to be, and how shit they now are.

Ubisoft is a prime example of what happens, when entertainment becomes overly politicized and corporatized. Any talent, passion, creative freedom goes out the window and everything becomes paint by numbers and any quality control becomes completely devoid of logic in favor of minimum effort required for release to not get sued.
They were like this back in the good old PS2 days, remember Warrior Within? Emo trend at it's peak, here it comes heavy metal Prince, blood, unhappiness, piss filter, etc.. I love Warrior Within because I liked heavy metal, but the criticism at the time was perfectly valid, to keep pumping sequels Ubisoft throws away any ounce of creativity and personality in favor of checking boxes, following current trends and whatnot. The fact Warrior Within turn out to be a really good game, that was pretty much a miracle. The PoP trilogy, FOUR Splinter Cell games in a single generation, they were all great somehow. But like I said, the mentality of releasing sequel after sequel, checking boxes, always a thing with Ubisoft. Assassins Creed was the beginning of their downfall, here it comes Far Cry 3 and the rest is history, Ubisoft became a factory of mediocrity

Not only that...the size of her. She's too small. There is no way in hell this girl would knock out these stormtroopers and all the other enemies with her bare fists. She does it over and over again and not once hurt her hand/knuckles and Ubisoft is way too lazy to details they could of at least had an animation of her shaking her hand like that punch hurt. Every time a character talks during a cutscene, they look just like another lifeless NPC.
It's stupid because they clearly tried to allude to 70s pulp adventure, the hero (Indiana Jones, Han Solo) throws exaggerated haymakers and that solve the problem. It has some charisma, especially when Indiana is punching nazis (men vs men, it's fantastical, but still grounded). Here it comes a fragile Han Solo wannabe who is able to knockout grown men and women, you can take that with a grain of salt, but she also punches helmets like Mike Tyson and that is supposed to be charismatic? Get this mediocre shit out of here. I bet the DEI "consultants" convinced the devs that showing a girl punching her way out of trouble is a example of "inclusivity", not only Han Solo can do that, but female Solo can do it too

I don't believe even for a second that Ubisoft will fix this game and provide a decent AI. They would not have done it even if this game sold well, and they definitely will not do it now that they know this game was a flop.
It's wild how much effort you can put into spoonfeeding those 'decision-makers' the breakdown of why everything is falling apart, yet they just sit there, sipping coffee and scrolling through their phones. It's. Fucking. Insane. Especially when you catch what’s wrong with it and tap into what can make it work before playtests, when it keeps you up at night out of passion, not because of looming deadlines packing your calendar. 1997. Star Wars has been falling apart at the seams since 1997. Phantom Menace, 2 years later, put the pedal down and aimed the franchise at a wall. It's basically been fan-fic since. This is just my experience: I knew a time prior to the prequels, I knew a time during the prequels and I see where its lead to where we are now. 2020 is 20+ years after the seams began to unravel. Like i said: everything now may as well be fan-fic.

And the kicker was FONV's reputation system was really REALLY half-assed. Easily the worst mechanic from that game because other than NCR, there's not enough content for your to get max reputation to feel like a meaningful progression. But it drops into the bottom instantly if you accidently shoot someone in the face.

Apparently if you ignore the side missions you can hit excellent rep with all faction by just taking the "good" option on normal missions (I forget which person reviewing it did this but I watched their vid the other day) so you can really game the system.

Woah I actually really liked Immortals Fenyx Rising. It's waaaay better than 90% of the slop that comes out, it was actually fun. But yeah I'll agree, Ubisoft is garbage. And it's funny they cancel Immortals, a game that I really think could've been massively improved in a sequel and grown into something very good. But instead we get Watch Dogs Legion, Star Wars "Outlaws" or AC Shadows 😩

Ac odyssey was a really good gams. Dlcs not as much, but ac odyssey was absolutely great. Valhalla ruined it by just going over board with the concept. But mirage was a joke. And avatar was a brilliant looking game yet basically less fun far cry. And somehow star wars outlaws didnt beat mirage lol in sales
