I played odyssey hated it. They said mirage was like old assassins creed. Hated it. Got it for 24 bucks. It was BORING. Still loaded with MTX and every setting looked exactly the same. Which I get it’s in a desert but man that game looked bland and story was even more bland. Never played Valhalla or origins. I’m comfortable not ever giving them money again.

Ubisoft forces a launcher on pc, forces a DRM which makes there games running worse, if you buy on steam. You have to run the installer that boots ubisoft launcher just to install and run the game. People already don't like this. The drm needs to go. An the forced ubisoft launcher launcher needs to go away .

They say they will release on Steam, but do they mean Steam Steam or Steam via a 3rd party launcher, like all the other Ubisoft games that are on Steam... That launcher is one reason I stopped buying their games on Steam and started buying them from uplay. One less background app taking up processing space when trying to game.

If Ubisoft want the game to sell well, then they need to run a fine tooth comb through every bit of artwork, every historical reference, and every piece of Japanese culture in their game. Season passes aren't why people are pissed. They've insulted the Japanese people multiple times without an honest apology. Ubisoft needs to apologize to gamers profusely for that, and they owe the Japanese people a lot more than that. Because with Ghost of Yotei closing in, they're going to have to pull something amazing to match that.

Ubisoft as actively working against the best interests of their investors. The CEO has utterly failed his fiduciary responsibility and should be ousted immediately.

Usually, a company investigating itself is just a false show of accountability, but as there's word of a hostile takeover, the investigation holds some promise.
