Curiously escorting potential POW's to Tunis as by April 1944, this was in allied hands? But I'm sure those guys were happy to go the camps in the USA 😀
Yknow I don't mind the idea that in an alternate scenario Tunis could still be in Axis hands in 1944. But the fact you got the historical date for the surrender of Italy, and then the game's lacking the RSI distinction really breaks the immersion.
North Africa looking a bit greener than i imagined it would be 😂 Seriously though, would some coastal variation kill them, the mediteranian looks suspiciously like the English Channel
why not throw 2 torpedoes at the river class gunboat...sink it, then close in within a KM or 2 and use the deckgun to take out Isle who seem to sink after 2-5 hit's from the 88mm.....just what I would have done.....I love watching your videos and used to scream at my laptop when you would over shoot the fleets on Atlantic Fleets pc game
It's weird the game systematically forces you to only select "8" sailors when all rescue boats contain 9. I know it isn't fair to compare it to the real deal, but I'm sure U-606 would have found some place for one more man, rather than force him to survive alone in the open sea with just some canned goods for comfort.
@@oliverhughes610 yeah. Turns out the current heading in was so strong that getting out required being on the surface, which late in the war was a suicide mission
Well, that was one seriously bugged scenario. Escorting troopships to Tunis in April 1944? Really? In reality, the desert war was over and the Allies had gobbled up Sicily and invaded mainland Italy, and Fascist Italy had surrendered and switched sides by then.
