Thanks for the comment, appreciate it sincerely. The problem is there because of variation in machines and the total number of application and hardware installed on a machine. Linux needs system level expertise to utilize it and thats why not everyone use it.
Hi, I’ve followed your tutorial and I’ve successfully installed both the kernel and the drivers. But after the reboot the system gets stuck. I’ve tried startx command from tty but nothing happens… any suggestion?
Most of the time if system stuck after kernel or drive update, the issue is that the driver or kernel components are not able to load into memory. When installing drivers or kernel components, its best to keep rebooting after each update, because this way you can enable/disable if needed later.. There are couple of things you can try: - Run the machine into non UI (comment line mode) if it works, then you know the display driver has the issue - You can also disable drivers (or remove) at the command line during the previous step to get back to UI. working..
