When Rocco ran in for the late go-ahead touchdown to put State ahead, the entire stadium was on its feet and electric. I’ve never been that hyped at the end of a football game until now. Ironically, there were some fans that left early before the 2 minute warning and unfortunately for them they missed one of the greatest comebacks of all time. Don’t get me wrong, there were a lot of mistakes and bad decision making throughout the game that needs to be cleaned up but man, what a comeback from this resilient Cyclones team!

I can never understand why people leave sports games early. You paid your money to watch it, is your life so busy that you have to leave early to avoid the crowds? If you want to avoid the crowds then sit in the stands after the game for 30mins and mull over how your team lost...it's a Saturday night.

The rules should be adjusted so that if you drop the ball before you cross the goal line, and a touchdown is called but is overturned, you don't get the ball back.

That wouldn't make sense because if you drop the ball before the goal line thats still a fumble even if they called a TD. That's where high football IQ comes in for the opposing team. Never give up on the ball.

Dropping the ball is the same exact thing as an unrecovered fumble. Why would they change the rules for this one specific situation?

If it had gone out of bounds through the end zone or an Iowa state player made an attempt to get the ball it would’ve been ISUs ball on the 20.

Purdy is the better QB and more shifty. Becht is bigger than him though and a stronger runner. Both are clearly the best QBs we have had in the schools history.

Iowa State..... will make history if they can get past Utah(home) in the 11th game of the season and Kansas State(away) in the final game of the season..... Still, I'm more excited about next year and the year after than I am about this season....10th year HC+staff and most of starters are now sophomores.

I've been listening to complaints about people dropping the ball before crossing the goal line all morning. So what. It's part of the game. And it had absolutely nothing to do with the outcome of the game. They scored on the next play.

And if you see the other angle they showed live and not just the highlights you would see that you are wrong and in fact the UFC defended pulled the WR. You see the jerk happen when the WR is attempting to get the ball which is why it was called PI

And the fumble that went off Iowa states leg and they gave them ball with no review reeks of point shaving that was not a pass interference and Iowa state fumbled the ball on punt return and they don’t even review and the network doesn’t show replay it’s like the networks and conference are calling games based on teams … Ucf will be in this position soon and will get those same calls but in reality college football is worse then boxing and point shaven and rigging of games should have outside investigation with no ties to ncaa or networks sad to see my favorite sport being manipulated so bad every Saturday… the refs can’t be this bad there’s deff hands in the game with this much money Iowa state won bc a pass interference and a fumbled recovered by Ucf that was given to Iowa state of u can’t admit that your biased based on your team bc those two calls were atrocious and should be sent to outside source for investigation

I still don't understand how UCF got the ball after dropping it at the 1 and it rolls into the endzone??? if that happens when a team is on offensive and there's a fumble through the end zone its a touchback and the other team gets the ball. Doesn't make sense.

They had about 5 or 6 no calls, finally called 1. 1 call doesn't decide the game. UCF needed one 1st down and failed. Blame them not the refs.

Fox Sports & FS1 should be embarassed with using remote announcers. It produces a sub-par experience for viewers to the point we'd rather listen to the radio broadcast and turn your volume off. Example: 53 seconds left in this game,, your guy emphatically states P.I. "hands all over the receiver". REALLY, how does he know that when he is not in the stadium ?? => replay shows clearly that (1) Ball Un-catchable {way above both heads + out of bounds} (2) both the Receiver & DB are OUT of Bounds when supposed PI took place as proven by the sideline Field ref who waves incomplete pass as he stands 3-yards away. All you jokers can muddle is the Back judge throws really late flag & he's somehow in the best position to make that call. REALLY (again) he's 40+ yards away at the goal post. Fans want to see a fair game and fair analysis but FOX (+ refs) didn't do that as In both 1+2 above the rule book says no P.I. Just plan bad football analysis by Fox.

That pass interference call that sealed the game was more offensive pass interference than defensive pass interference. That's super tough.
