This new number heavy way of picking the NCAA field is terrible. USF goes 16-2 in a two-bid league, but isn't even a top 4 seed in the NIT. Well they lost to such and such the geeks will say. Yeah and that was early on in the first season of a new head coach in this transfer age we're living in. USF has played like a top 25 team for most of the new year. Machines can only be smarter than humans when the humans that make or use the machines are smarter than machines.

As a ucf fan, even I agree. Even though Knights are in big 12 they still went 7 and 11 in conference play. They had talent and a good defense but were inconsistent free throw shots, which led to their loss . Usf won like 20 games in a row, had one bad game, and got denied. This was the most dangerous usf team in years and was fun to watch. I miss this rivalry, but I have to be honest and admit usf should have been at least a lower seed in the NCAA tourney, I'm my opinion. and not have to play in the NIT.

@@ethanjarskey44 we were in last place, yeah. But we also beat UCF up in football at their own stadium. Doesn’t change that I think we took the wrong school out of Florida. At the very least should have taken both
