Steffen Kappus her name is actually Izumi not Izuna, and if you read the Itachi novel óbito didn’t kill her it was Itachi who kill her by putting her in a genjustsu showing her what would have been if he didn’t kill his clan, how they would get married, have a child and grow old together. And they never did date she was just the girl who Itachi love and if you read the Itachi novel they have way more moments than in the anime. The producers change a lot of things from the novel to the anime.
