I think not many people are talking about this and are blindly bashing Bernardo (especially our own fans) but I genuinely feel that Bernardo's penalty was totally on the fans themselves. City had the upper hand the entire game, especially after Modric missed his penalty. Why did the fans take so long to give the ball to Bernardo, what was happening there ? They killed the momentum then and there itself. A guy who played such a tiring game for 120 minutes just wants to go out there and shoot it one last time with a free mind. But the fans took it away from him, making him wait for more than 30s under such high pressure and tiredness all over his body. Regardless, proud of my team and how we played and yes a huge congratulations to Real Madrid. That truly was a masterclass at defending.
