UCLA Arts Lunch Labs: IDEAS Campus 

Assistant Adjunct Professor Natasha Sandmeier presents work taking place within the UCLA Department of Architecture and Urban Design IDEAS campus, an incubator for cross-disciplinary architecture and design research.

IDEAS is a 15,000 square-foot facility located approximately eight miles south of the main UCLA campus, near Culver City. Housed at IDEAS are a large studio environment, a robotics lab, a virtual reality and augmented reality lab, and a fabrication shop with a wide range of traditional tools, as well as more specialized machinery like CNC routers, laser cutters and 3D printers.
