hello! I loved your routine and I hope you made it into their guard! from all of these videos i've been watching on youtube, it was nice to see someone actually dance with the flag rather than just spinning it and standing there. thanks for posting!

Rifle is definitely harder, thats why traditionally you learn flag first. But that doesn't mean you can't learn both at the same time. It'll depend on what your coach thinks is best. :) Also, flag is equipment that is meant to look more dainty versus a rifle which the movements should make you look more strong. You definitely have to squeeze a lot while using both though :)

I would love for you to be my guard instructor in about two years. You are awesome!

Congratulations on making the UCLA guard. I used to teach them back when they were the UCLA flag squad, 1978-1981. Based on this video, I would have gladly placed you on the squad. Oh, yes, and Go Bruins!

You are a very creative person I'll have you know. My only tip to you is to spread your hands a little more when you catch you're rifle. I sure hope u make the team :)

Your dance technique looked really good. The only big issue I saw was that you reached for all your tosses on rifle and flag. Always let your tosses come down to you. It helps to stay on count and it looks way more effortless. I am impressed though. Good job. :)

On rifle, make sure you keep your hands on the ends of the rifle when you catch. Also, no puppy dogs hands underneath your tosses!

@EatHerFaceOff121 I really didn't haha. Most of that was work that my coach wrote, and she allowed me to make a mash of it for my audition video. I've written routines before though, and it starts with picking a song you know you can listen to a billion times and not be sick of (since we all know you'll be doing that during practice) and spinning to your hearts' content to it. :)

the only thing i would say is free hands free hands free hands lol. i've been spinning for about 2ish/3 years and im doing drum corps this summer (madison scouts) and i know that one thing i really need to work on is free hands. i've worked it out mostly. but you know it's something everybody has issues with :) you had awesome dance and other technique though!

Watch your free hands and hold your core, but other than that lovely darling!

Remember to control yourself under the equipment. You look spastic throughout the routine especially underneath your rifle tosses. Also, a lot of the choreography doesn't really go with the music like it doesn't flow well. You have excellent technique with the equipment otherwise :) I hope you made UCLA's guard and are doing well on it! btw: Sorry if I sounded harsh. I'm a colorguard choreographer and coach lol

that waz really good im a senior in high school its my 7th year in colorguard ive been in it since 6th grade you got really good moves i just kind of think u should of put more moves into the flag like the helicopter or something for some reason it looks like you were doing the same thing over and over again but u were good

@annabell lambe um she actually did dance and color guard, not cheerleading. Cheerleaders are not dancers, they are stiff.

Thanks so much to both of you. :) Oh my gosh dance is one of my favorite parts of guard! You should really try to add it. I didn't know anything about it before I joined guard. Anyone can learn. :D I hope guards going great for both of you. It really changed my life. Don't quit!
