I always wanted to attend UCLA, but I don't think my grades up to their standards, In my country I usually get the top mark or second highest, but I've never failed so that's a plus, but also I'm an international student and it'd just be so much hassle especially money wise. I just wish hopefully one day luck will be on my side in hopes of attending here. It'd be a dream come true. I just wish my country helped us more on getting overseas.
whenever i dont wanna do my homework, i just say to myself "do you wanna make it into ucla? dont you want to get out of wisconsin?" somehow i always get my homework done :)
After watching many of these move in videos, its so easy to see the good universities from the bad. The good ones, easy move, no stress, organised down the little bits, while bad unis equals stress, stress and more stress.. Such a shame the UK Unis dont have videos like these. Id love to see the move in day from Oxford and Cambridge.
UCLA is my dream University ... I've already started preparing for exams and all the things so that and I can hopefully get into UCLA with an shcolorship ..I live in India ...I just hope I'll be accepted here one day ...I love this University with all my heart even though I'm just 14 I know this is where I want to be ❤
@MiyazakiTsuji they do have single rooms but they're much smaller. the plaza's really aren't that small! you can fit three people and still have room to walk around
Haha well International kids with great stats and extra's have a pretty good shot if they fit the criteria. California residents are given priority however. To be frank, it will be very hard to get into this college. That doesn't mean it cannot happen, just keep those grades up! But make sure you have a back up plan as it seems like you want to come to california. Assuming money isn't an issue look into USC, UCSB, UCSD, UCSC, UCI, .... Great schools, and with good grades you can get in!
@dudegetsomedeoderant It all depends on your SAT and ACT scores. Score around 1800 plus on your SAT and score high on the ACT. Out of state is a bit harder. Take AP courses which will boost your GPA by a few. The first time I took the SAT I scored around a 1475 and the time after that it was around 1825 if I remember correctly. If avid is given at your school you should take it... do extra curricular activies including community service and get letters of rec. -Hope this helps.
@MiyazakiTsuji Try going to school in the south lol. There arent only roaches, there are flying palmetto bugs. Palmetto bugs are giant roaches. Seeing one of those bastards fly at you is one of the scariest things ever.
@dudegetsomedeoderant yeah it all depends. i know people who got in with 4.0 grade average (with the grade bump of honors) and i know people who didnt and they had 4.6's and 4.7's. it just all depends i guess but i think you might have a chance :)
can anyone tell me the terms to get in this university ? i will finish high school next year and i am from saudi arabia i want to know how i can study at ucla i love it so much .. this university is my dream !!
I'm a Sussex university student (UK). We always got tons of US students over here, wondering if it's worth heading over to UCLA. How easy is the transition? Any help for international students? Thanks.
I love how these kids see this stuff online and decide they want to venture across the globe. If you would like to come to America and study abroad I encourage you! Yet, I cannot stand it when kids post this stuff about wanting to go here so bad. Is it the sports or something that grabs the attention? Not to be a downer but it's only getting more and more competitive. Every year there seems to be more applicants and less spots to fit the demand. Keep up your grades and you have a shot though!
@MiyazakiTsuji Dude, hate to tell you, but dorms are small at every school in the country. Hell, you go to Harvard the dorms are small. Judging by what Ive seen though, UCLA dorms look nicer than most schools. My schools dorms are GROSS.
Absolutely false. Although International students have a good shot, California residents are given priority, period. A popular route is to attend a CCC and transfer. I know that some students are accepted out of state but it is a very low majority.
look at how happy the students are and how cheerful the music is DAMN i would fucked that school up with my violent attitude and paranoid mind (if someone is laughing and i assume it's because of me and i attack them) haha good times but seriously i can't believe i had a chance to go and bully people there even though i would barely study and just blast zepplin and snoop loud as fuck ha damn i should of gone
