This is what I'll never understand... I was raised to not litter... there were even ads on tv against littering (this was back in the 50s - 60s). Back then, if you were caught littering, it was considered shameful. But now, in any public gathering, whether a fair, a protest, or a homeless camp, trash is left everywhere! And not the occasional gum wrapper or piece of paper but whole swathes of garbage! And as someone else pointed out, these are the same ppl who cry out about the environment! Shameful!

I graduated from one of these top universities and can't imagine intentionally littering on its campus (even way back when, when I was younger and more irresponsible). America has a deep entitlement problem and it is not at all confined to college students.

If police came up to your campsite and told you to leave now they aren't going to give you time to clean up your garbage, they want you to leave NOW. When I go camping I clean up when I leave, so does the vast majority of people. But if you have the cops coming in and breaking up your campsite you can't do that. So of course it looks like a mess. What else would it look like? If their right to protest hadn't been infringed upon and forced to leave the place still would not have looked pristine, but there would be much less trash.

That's not exactly the story..Many hours before the police said they were going to come and take down the encampments but the protesters refsed to leave...and they are on property of the university which is for ALL who attend....and many,not just Jews, were being blocked from moving around the campus...The students need to come back under the watch of police and clean up their mess....Do you think ANY of this behavior would be accceptable in GAZA???? LGBTQ is NOT accepted in Islam.
