I love when you post something about ucla because it's gives me more information about the university and I will be attending this university in the future 😁
Also, I love the room! My favorite part was the wall above your bed. I loved how you guys put the pictures all over the tree and on the leaves. So creative. Plus, I would love to know where you got your decor from, the shower curtain was so beautiful I want one just like it!!
Hey! I love your tours. Before I came to UCLA I watched your on campus housing tour and dining hall tour, now I'm a second year watching your uni apartment tour! I have Early RSU tomorrow and I was wondering if you could share what your timeslot was and if you had any troubles getting the apartment you wanted? I keep hearing mixed comments about being able to get into these. Thank you!
Aww thank you so much for the support! Sorry I'm so late to this comment. Unfortunately, I don't remember my timeslot but I know we got out first choice :) I wish you the best with everything💙💛
Hey, love all your videos! Just wondering if you preferred living in the dorms or the apartments? What ended up cheaper in the end (factoring in food costs). Thanks heaps
Thank you so much!! And great question! I like the apartments because it's nice to have your own space & more freedom to do what you want. However, the dorms were better in my opinion because of all the food options! It may have been cheaper than apartment living with the meal plan included, but I'm not exactly sure. I hope this helps :)
I’ll be at Gayley towers in the fall, what do you think about those apartments and how they compare to others around the area. Thanks for your video and your input. I wish and hope gayley has a nice bbq area.
I'm in a summer program until 9/14 and I just drove by yesterday and they're a little too close to the frat houses :( Would you know if it gets too crazy around here during their parties etc.? When do you move in or are you from LA?
Hey girl! Thanks so much for this new vid, I've been waiting 🤣. Anyways, I was wondering if you were a senior or a junior in college right now? Also, are there any events for the black population at UCLA? I'm attending this year, but I haven't heard anything about that yet.
Hey! Thanks for watching! I'm going into my senior year. There are plenty of events for Black Bruins. Follow @blackbruins on Instagram to stay updated!
Are there seniors living in these apartments? My daughter transferred last fall, but since school is online she is home now. She hopes to live in an apartment fall 21. Also, which of the off campus student apartments are the newest/nicest. She needs a parking spot. Thanks and I love your videos!
Yes, I believe sophomores, juniors, and seniors can live in University apartments. The apartments also have parking garages available to rent a parking space. I believe they are building a new apartment building, but not sure what it is called. I believe the Landfair apartments are one of the nicest and also fairly close to campus! I wish you & your daughter the best! Thank you for watching my videos, I appreciate the support :)
I applied to UCLA, but I am nervous that it will be hard for me to feel comfortable in LA in general. I am not from the city and only been to LA once, so I am wondering what others experience living in LA and what are some tips living in LA. I like interacting with communities so if I go to UCLA I want to get to know the LA community. Rumors of LA make me nervous though. Any thoughts?
I understand how you feel. As an out of state student I experienced culture shock moving to LA. But I believe UCLA culture is different than LA culture. Also, when living on campus the city of Westwood(one of the many parts of LA) seems to be filled with mostly UCLA students. LA is a big city/county so it's hard to sum up the experience. But I believe it is great to take yourself out of your comfort zone and you will find your own community/friends within the city :)
@@tntcreations aahh! Thank you so much. That makes sense. I got into UCLA School of Nursing so that is definitely where I will be going Fall 2020. Thank you for your videos and kind words!
love ur videos! your gorgeous 😚how long is the walk from this apartment to UCLA? strongly considering it but worried it would be too far of a walk? (transfer student fall 202)
Thank you so much! It's only about a 10 minute walk to campus or less if you walk fast or take a scooter lol I think it's a great location compared to other apartments that are further from campus
Check with UCLA Housing for more information. I believe you pay per quarter (fall, winter, spring) Also student loans and financial aid can help alleviate the cost
Most university apartments 2 or 3 students share a room & bathroom. However, there are some apartments that allow one student to have their own room & bathroom
