My lady's pregnant and we just found out we're having a girl, if it was a boy I was gona get him into baseball, but looks like I gotta get her into softball now!
The excitement of womens fastpitch softball is incredible.. Just like little league...ZERO QUIT, and no giving up EVER!! Anything.. and I mean ANYTHING can happen..
Can someone explain to me why softball players ALWAYS smile or laugh when they give up a homerun?? I dont understand I always see it. Better to laugh then cry I guess??
M Detlef my sister played volleyball and I think if the team that loses the point is thinking they don’t have a a chance to win the match so they do that to keep their mojo good and they know they have a chance to get that point back right away
not every player reacts the same. its the same as why do some players in mlb, nba, nfl show extreme emotion after every play vs ones who keep their cool?
I remember this game live, best championship game ever. So many stellar and clutch plays. Perhaps the best and most important was the pinch runner. Serious wheels and a crafty slide. Impressive. To this day, bravo to both teams.
I think that the two teams played very. Very very well .. any of the two who won deserved it..they did a good job from the manager to each player of each team they did it tremendously well...
J Ro no softball fields are smaller and the ball is heavier so the ball gets to the infields and outfielders faster and they don’t have as long to react to make a play especially sb vs bb outfielders. softball is a faster paced game also bc it has less innings, the game is shorter. the more innings the longer it goes
Listening to UCLA-Utah tonight and announcer says Jackie Prober’s slide to win this for the Bruins is the best he’d ever seen, softball or baseball. I agree. Lightening around the bases then the left arm sweep and rightward body adjustment. Nails. Outstanding. Champion.
That one hurt but congrats to UCLA for winning that one. They barely got by the Sooners but barely does count. As of last night the Sooners got their revenge on the entire softball community for the third consecutive year. Sorry the Nols where the victim.
one of the reasons why i love softball so much and being a catcher is because it’s so competitive but at the same time we’re happy for the other team when they hit home runs and stuff it’s like we’re all friends but i’d dominate them and break their leg if i have to (with no hard feelings afterwards ofc)
@@amayabalencia6038 it's what you think about the game and the players. if certain players did good or bad, if the game was unjust or maybe comments about the referee
@@avifrexy2068 alright. i'll tell. as someone who's been playing for six years there's not much that passes me anymore. no players on either team did bad....every player, both UCLA and Oklahoma, did awesome. G Juarez and Rachel Gracia pitched lights out games and the defense was great! every AB was something so interesting on how players made adjustments from the night before. the blue's did a good job and there wasn't a call that i didn't agree with. the long ball was something to watch as well.....softball is an all around fun and amazing sport. i hoped this helped love!
OU had pounded the ball in the 7th. First 3 batters hit shots to the wall or over it. Coach should have gone to the mound to check on her pitcher. So the HR by the 3rd batter was no surprise. You can see that coming.
If the ball goes past, game over, if the ball drops, game over. She wound up slowing down and moving away from the plate :( in that case, ya...dive all or nothing.
I have to disagree...watch it again. That ball could have easily been caught. The left fielder really made no effort in attempt to get a position to catch that ball.
@@michaelroberts2519 Perhaps, Michael... however I believe the left fielder was also playing tentative due to a huge error she made in the previous game when she failed to field an easy roller to her. Oklahoma had at least three errors in that same inning which really rattled them as the Bruins scored 16 runs...
