I was relieved to see that neither my undergrad or grad school alma mater's allowed such childish behavior. This was one case of if you give an inch they'll take a mile because a week-long illegal encampment should have never have been allowed. And I hope that umm-melanie-umm has a little vandalism in her future, perhaps that will help get her attention.
One should never say never, but I remember at the time thinking that USC wouldn't have let this go past the first minute. The lawn is one thing, but that tagging / graffiti is disgusting.
