So that means you’d have to have your phone screen also on just to watch something on the factory stereo. Why would I want to watch 2 screens? If I have to go through that many steps just to have double screens I might as well mount my phone on the windshield, and save tons of time and watch things off my phone while in my car.
How about a black iPad for 200$ stick 2 strips of velcro each side of the monitor and behind the iPad . Stick it over the the monitor and hook up Bluetooth for sound . You now have yourself a 300$ computer in your car with quick access to anything you want . Videos . Music . RU-vid Netflix pornhub . Awsome for work ... Open emails with one touch . The velcro system is obviously a low budget DIY or for dummies but you can easily created a nice rack system to hold your iPad over the stock monitor and slide up and down to have quick Access to stock radio commands . Ps that 500$ system is a bit expensive for what it does ...

I had to edit this. He is talking about a kit you need to buy to make this work. It isnt clear at first because he is kinda hard to understand and he said kit but you hav to liesten for it. This is a bullshit video unless you want to spend hundreds for this. I sure as hell dont. It isnt that important.

Only works when his other device, he sells as well, is installed. The other device requires you to take your dash apart and unscrew your U connect system from the car then unscrew the back of the Uconnect head unit and take out boards to then install his device along side the original Uconnect system. Then put everything back together. Now with this device installed you can think about purchasing extra exterior add ons he sells on his website like dongle device that adds apple car play and android auto, this device he shows here for adding phone mirroring capabilities. ....etc.
