just finished installing the brickstuff kit tonight. this popped up and I just dont get how you could live with this one. Id rather have no lights at all than this.
If they made cable covers in grey to match or white ....red sticks out a bit but no its great looking at perfection here if it was me I would buy a plastic liquid and coat the cables (don't hate me just want it to look perfect)
IMO, having some external wires showing fits the aesthetic of the falcon at various points. The falcon wasnt always perfectly repaired, so having some random wires/cables that run across is reasonable and makes sense in my head. Like instead of doing it the "right way," han or lando just hot fixed some stuff to get it operational without having to open up panels or feed through slots like they would when it was being built or repaired professionally
I would not light the guns with this kit. It's just too sloppy looking. Look at how the Light My Falcon dot com people did it. They drilled out the shafts for the guns and ran the wires inside I believe. Their kit is outrageously expensive but they hide the wires well.
Curious about that engine lighting. Not sure if it's the camera and office lighting, but the blue is lost when those lights are on. From our perspective in video. Is this really the case or are they actually blue?
light my bricks products are far too expensive! costs more than the actual lego set and dnan is not even a manual in paper form or a battery box which you then have to buy again at a high price! my sets came with the content heard! and they delete all negative comments, so the 10tsd likes only have few comments! absolutely incapable of criticism! I would not buy a second time there!
Just found your channel, love it mate. Just getting into Lego l finished my first build (AT AT) and I’ve ordered the impartial light cruiser. I think those lights improve an already cool model. Love your Yavin btw. Great work.
Please take a look at an excellent Millennium Falcon MOC in Systemscale. Just search for Stifos Millennium Falcon - this Thing is incredible (not my creation!!!).
Funny how the direct competition of Brickstuff sends you a kit to review. It's almost the same system just a few differences. Now Brickloot has to send you lights as well. ;)
Is this Falcon one of your customed instruction builds? Or is it just the UCS Falcon. It looks awesome. I want to get one and would like to add a sound board .
Did these people invent these connectors on the jumper wires and their connector boards or are they standard electronics parts I can get at Radio Shack or somewhere? Who knows?
I've just ordered my Falcon. Light kit wont be far behind. Want to do the lights as I build see if can hide wires alittle better maybe drill smalls hole etc
This is totally awesome!!! The only nitpick I may have is that the lights for the engines should have been blue instead of white, but besides that, this a great set and the Falcon looks even better this way, and you really should leave it in the Yavin base on display, it's the best way to keep the Falcon on view and not stuck on a shelf somewhere, nicely done, BrickVault!
