We planned to visit Udaipur for 4 days and 3 nights. We took connecting flights from Chennai to Bangalore to reach Udaipur.
City palace is one of the most important place to visit in Udaipur. The Palace is well maintained is open for the public visit from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
This palace has a rich history to every pillar and room, hire a guide who can explain the history behind.
Shiv Nivas Palace is also located within the City Palace compound, which now now partially available as a hotel. This part of the palace is available for the public to dine and stay.
To enjoy this place do visit on a weekday to avoid the crowd.
