A beautiful track and the lady in the front row left (green jacket) danced like a pro and she was flawless. What a wonderful performance, enjoyed it and reminds of how great our past songs and music had been in the 1970’s. Those days were the best
Agree 100% . This was the BEST of the BEST , Sinhala dance music of the '70 s and ALL times ! No one since then has EVER come near the beauty and quality of this music !
I too agree to that, the LADY on the front left and everything going for her, must have doing it since school days. Very graceful too and a treat to watch. Wish i could do a dance with her!!
Accidentally came across this song, really good, singalese have a very good sense of enjoyment, treat tamils like your own brothers, your island will be a heaven.
Truly beautiful music and dance perfectly complementing the Udarata Osariya dress! Perfectly choreographed ! Kudos to the lady in the blue saree who moved so fluidly and elegantly in step with the music. I figure her to be the teacher/leader of this dance troupe. Nevertheless, the lady in the green saree was the one who enthralled me with her moves and her energy ! Thank you ladies, one and all, for this classy captivating dance that brings credit to our Sri Lankan culture ! Jayaweva, Sri Lanka !🥰 🇱🇰 🙏
I was born and had my primary school education in Colombo. My sisters used to dance for this baila song. Refreshing to see this. Everybody had the best move to the rhythm but hats off to the first lady towards my left. She resembles my sister when she was young.
My favorite cultural depiction of real Sri Lanka! Sri Lanka means family fun; fun for all - kids, men, women, young and old all. This is what is so special about the country. I like other communities also to do these types of community dancing that showcase everyday life and celebrations....great for the country..must smile like these ladies; not so serious and prompted. Just natural..
Everyone is watching this video only for one reason, its that beauty on the front left that keeps all of us coming back. Hope she is a teacher somewhere and i wish i can be her student. Reminds me of my school days!!!. Never get enough of her moves !!!
The best Dancer in this group for me is first in left hand side in the first row. Because She has the real Udarata Menike look with a real Dancing flexible body shape.
It was lovely to see them start. Looked impromptu but I am sure they had practiced. I am from a Sri Lankan family but my immediate family don't dance. My in laws, the Sri Lankan ones and the Irish ones dance impromptu!
All pretty & elegant dancers doing classical twist/ Bollywood like(but better) dancing to a non classical music(i.e byla), very gracefully coriagraphed too. Few of them look like former Mrs.World winner mayor like!
It might not be proper to single out any from dancing trope, but the lady in greenish sari, moved to rhythm in limp, expression and energy - very rare these days. In fact she lived the song and I watched spell-bound. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you all!
One of the BEST performances done by Sri Lankan beauties. Love it. All are equally amazing. Love to see MORE of this type of dancing performances. Please upload more....
wow love it. You ladies are a credit to Sri Lanka. The lady in left in front row with dark green jacket is a professional. Great work. ( loud applause)
