1800kv on 4s with a 1.6 pitch 45mm that’s about 45mph at the most, maybe you had you gps tracker set to kph ? Or possibly I heard you wrong on the kv, my bad if so and maybe I’m learning something new-what did you do with the water bottle- precooling ?
Nice speed and self righting too! I was considering the proboat recoil 2, but this is a pretty cool little boat! Too bad banggood deliveries are a bit sketchy over here.

Did the Esc was too hot when you checked the boat?How long you have been played with a full charged 4s battery? I just ordered that boat and just a bit curious to know some information from you. @@gen1speedrun679 With the stock prop, and 4S is it a faster boat ? do you really notice the diference from 3S to 4S ? Does it come with a 3/16 or a 4 mm flexshaft ?
@@eduardonessim4499 yes big difference from 3 to 4s very noticeable, but you will have to push trim tabs all the way up and run a small prop which stock prop is fine.
This boat is on my radar still..I just wish you would have mentioned what prop used here? Looks like a 45mm..maybe a 1.4 pitch...? 55mph is really fast.i wonder if 45 mph on stock electronics and motor are possible with a better prop..thanks again

I’ve ran the arrow 5 on 6s yes… there’s only so much speed you can actually get from these little boats while still having the self righting feature. On 6s I’ve reached speeds of 65MPH with these little boats.

@@remotelycontrolable I usually run high kv motors putting more stress on electronics so I found this to be very efficient for cooling electronics between runs. It works very well. 👍🏼
Did you move the battery tray to fit the 4S? I can barely fit a 3S 4000mAh in mine since its tucked up under the side of the hull, yours looks closer to the centre
@@gen1speedrun679 Size is ok but too much weight, running GNB 3000mAh 4S 100C now & getting 40Mph on stock electrics, may prop up to 440 3 blade to see if the motor handles the load
@@rcstackz7333 I tried but the flex cable is too short for the larger 3 blade prob hub to secure it properly. Dont want to change the drive train until something melts and then its a full re-power at that point. 40Mph still for now is still great fun with a small boat like this.
@@markknowles6660 right on appreciate the response, just got that PB recoil 2 18” last week been having a blast thing does 32-35mph consistently. Want something a little bigger now but not a 36”. Tough to order a Pb recoil 26” when the PB sonic is 40$ more for a 36”😕 Anyways leaning towards this boat to close the gap on price and performance. Hoping to get 50 mph on 4s as mentioned but as you mentioned may need some more tweaking than I’m thinking
Ok so I have the Udi005 I first one and I I want to upgrade the electronics to a 4s setup because the Udi005 I got only 3s but I’ve seen people on run it on 4s but I don’t want to do that because I don’t want to burn nuthin lol but it would be nice if I can find the setup that’s in the udi u have …. And do u think all outrunner motor help for self righting or is it specific ones
@@lamontpaynes389 you can run a 4s 2200mah zeee battery from eBay with no problem at all. Take your trim tabs as far up as you can to help with overheating and also will gain more speed.
