UDM Pro to pfsense Site to Site VPN 

Strange issue hope someone can help! Site to site is setup, and while I can ping the remote Synology, as well SSH into it I cannot get the webUI to load nor can I mount shares. Synology is behind the pfsense. Any thoughts?

Thanks for the video. I cant get my tunnel to work tho.. follow everything but no traffic over tunnel.. connection are established and i can see in logs that i try to ping from both sides, but ping shows 100% pings lost.

I know it is RU-vid, not a support forum, but any idea why I can access the network behind the pfsense from behind the USG, but not the USG from behind the pfsense? USG input the new interface and still learning to navigate it. I don't seem to see any rules, everything is NAT. I am definitely missing something.

Goodness gracious that was easy. I tried OpenVPN & WG & everything else between UDM & pfSense; nothing worked. This worked second try (realized I had L2TP not IPSec configured on UDM, lol) I blame the new interface :)

In the new version 8 off Unifi, add a Wireguard (server and client) I spossible connect site 2 site with Wireguard ?? Is more fast that Ipsec

Hi, sorry but your setup is not working for me. And ttrust me i tryed. i have static public ip's so the problem is not this. I tryed PF rule * allow. vpn connects but no pings. BTW USG does'nt have SHA 256 only SHA1. I read something about MTU but not tested yet. The bad thing is that there are no "who to" on this on the web :(. I realy wanted to shitch to PF but i have over 30 S2S that at the moment are not working, PF to UNIFI. I whant to cryyyy :(

this sucks, need to show what sort of settings you had to set for firewall rules to get the traffic to flow. Establishing the VPN connection alone is not enough for traffic to traverse both ways.

Nice video. Thanks! Answered most of my questions for my upcoming setup, but have a few follow-up questions: Is it possible to set this up without having static public IPs on each side? I can get the UDMP to update a dyn-dns record, possibly also for the pfSense. a) Can I get this running with the UDMP on a known dns-name, but not fixed ip, like home.somewhere.net and have the pfSense on a random wan-IP? b) If I get the pfSense to update a dyn-dns as well, like summercamp.somewhere.net, would I then be able to get the vpn running? c) I guess my basic question above really is: Is it possible to setup ipsec using dns-names rather than ip addresses? d) You mention that you have to specificy the public wan ip off the pfSense as part of the config ON the pfSense (part of what you masked, so didn't really follow exactly what you meant). Given dhcp on my public wans on both sides, this is a problem. Is there any way to get around this?

Will all the traffic from the pfSence, for the Internet, rout thru the UDM?
