I mean boots + approach is nice I usually take that into the more mobile teams this team didn't have that much mobility so I opted for something more defensive instead. Also no Rookern because FoN is better as a first MR item there it procs off instances of magic damage while burn mages do trigger that faster by themselves they had so many ap champs and thus a lot of instances of magic damage that it gets procd very easily. If it was just lux rookern is good for example but because it was so many it isn't since FoN when it can be used fully is always the best option. For this same logic you also don't go Rookern after you've already build FoN since at that point the healing/shielding increase from spirit visage holds more value and the burst damage reduction that rookern gives will hold much less value due to already having a massive MR item before that. So basically build Rookern when you are facing 1 heavy burst mage or maybe 2 heavy burst mages if there is more ap damage sources FoN will be better in most cases.

@@FzFrost I'd think FON would be better later since teamfights happen later. Early midgame it's more skirmishes normally and the shield of rookern would give more value than having to wait for FON to proc. Rookern 2nd + FON 4th seems disgusting. Tank some poke and the first magic dmg with rookern and then FON kicks in. Spirit visage eh, it's not like you have rift maker or a healing supp although the shields are nice. But oviously the fon into warmogs is still a great build aswell

I would still prefer to take the MS from FoN early even if I'm potentially waiting a little for the proc on the item which also shouldn't be long since the 4 aps are always in fights or at least they should be. Also you are massively underestimating the amount of healing/shield the w from udyr gives to say not that good without riftmaker.

@@FzFrost I OTP udyr so I have a vague idea, although I'm only D4. But most of the time will use empowered on R (or q when isolated), so that loses some value for spirit visage. But I get where you come from.

most good udyr players do what you just said lianderies -> Riftmaker if snowballing

it improves the value of your shields/heals a lot which is much much better for udyr. Rookern is something you take if you need 1 MR item against burst mages when something like FoN doesn't make sense. If you already have force of nature you should pretty much always go spirit with that.

I mean that would have been good yes but I was just looking to see if lux would be a free kill or if vex would just commit to the engage or something to back her up. Also it was unlikely in that moment that shaco would be able to them in the meantime so I had some wiggle room. Highest Elo Reached for me is 1082lp challenger
