Msj1 dont rule out benfica. In my honest opinion on paper Napoli are the best team on that side by a fair margin. Being 18 points clear in the serie A when 3 italian teams are in the quarters, shows how good a team they are this year. Having said that champions is champions & it all can come down to one game. I honestly favor Benfica over Inter at the moment although it should be an entertaining match.
I agree. I remember it happening once in 2002/03 season and that was a tight ass game man lol finished 1-1 in both legs. Ac milan went on to win it eventually.
CFC_Editz They definately have the better side of the draw. I dont consider Chelsea a particularly consistent team on the other side, but Madrid, Bayern have a lot of experience in Europe, & man city on their day are just a scary team to face.
@@I7Fortniteclan Im neutral but judging by the game last time they draw and napoli look better. Before that also they lose 0-1 but still a better team.
@@jorritkoperdraad5611 I wouldn't go too much by it. 2 or 3 starting lineup players missing for Napoli. Oshimen has a huge inpact on team morale and how they perform. Throw in another couple of players and its not that surprising(although shouldn't have lost 4-0). Milan also played the game of their life. Literally the best performance theyve had all year, every one of their goals was world class. The serie A this season has Napoli's name on it they also arent going to risk an injury the first time in a long time they reach a champions quarters.
Italians are really making their presence known in the comments lol. All jokes aside, congrats either way. The return of serie A dominance seems imminent.
It doesn't. All of the Serie A clubs were extremely lucky with the draw this time around. Look at their rivals: Porto, Frankfurt... well, Tottenham is a higher class team, but that 1:0/0:0 victory was suffered out. Napoli has more merit in the overall success, but none of the Milan teams would withstand Bayern or City, which is cristal clear. I see no real prerequisites for a "serie A dominance", as you put it.
@@Rainmakeroffireso Chelsea and Manchester City considered lucky also right, they just face Dortmund and Leipzig, isnt it ? Just the same quality as Frankfurt ? But, Frankfurt was UEL winner last season right ?
Last time they played Milan they won but Milan played so much better had more chances more possession they just couldn’t score it’s going to be a great match
🎶Benficaaaaaa, agora sonha tanto como eu, quero ganhar a terceiraaaaa, quero ser campeão europeuuu. E Eusebiooooooooo, la no ceu o podemos ver, connosco a acarditaaaaaar e a cantar pelo SLB.🎶
We cannot compare Bayern Munich with Man city. Man city with pep looks like an useless team infront of Bayern Munich. Bayern has best keepers, defenders, mildfielders and forwards.
Besides the Real Madrid vs Chelsea matchup, every other game is 50/50, such intensity and we have a guaranteed Portuguese or Italian finalist this season
Napoli are easily one of the top teams in Europe this year. The only thing they lack is experience. 3 of the remaining 8 teams are Serie A teams, and Napoli is dominating the league by a 15 point margin, and that is saying something.
@@xyzuxyz : I know it’s a team sport but when you are that good, you should make a difference. If City plays well and he gets pocketed at the end of the day, you can’t defend him with the team sport analogy.
Porter won't get sacked even after losing to Madrid. Benfica Vs Napoli, City vs Madrid in the semi's. Napoli v City final, 3-1 in favour of man city. This prediction is based on a dream I had about 10 years ago. 😂
we just drew against Everton, guys please. whatever hope you (Chelsea fans, i'm also a Chelsea fan) have of winning the UCL, forget about it. we ain't winning the UCL with Potter.
@@공현우-u1f 100% possible, it won’t be easy but looking back at the game earlier this year between Milan and Napoli, Milan was the better team with the better chances but Napoli won by 1-2. I think there is allot to happen in this great quarter final!
@@jorritkoperdraad5611 Well.. They have another game in April, against each other in Serie A. That game will be the proof of why Napoli is in the top place. Kravatskhelia and Osimhen has scored a lot of goals. What about Defend? Kim Min-Jae and Rrahmani was blocked lots of forwards in Europe, except Benzema, Haaland. Giroud and Zlatan can beat Napoli's centre back duo? I'm not sure. And many of football fans pick Napoli is the best teams in Europe, right now.
@@공현우-u1f yes because they are really overrated! The reason that Napoli is on top of the league is because they are winning there games against the smaller teams. The other 2 big teams in serie a (Milan and inter) are losing much games against the small times and are mostly winning their big games against other big clubs. Juve is far behind because of 15 point relegation. Furthermore is Napoli a bit overrated if you look at their performance in Europe, have played against Liverpool who are not THAT strong this year, Ajax well Ajax is not good this season and Glasgow rangers is not a big club either. Last Frankfurt, well they are good can not be considered a huge club in Europe. O and btw in the game Milan- Napoli earlier this season Milan it’s best player Rafael leao was not port of the squad because of a red cart against Sampdoria I believe. I really think Milan have a good change against Napoli! Forza Milan
yeah, before the draw Napoli were 4th favorites, City, Bayern, Real 1-3, Chelsea 5. Can't remember what the order of the other 3 was, but Napoli will probably take Italian opposition since they have dominated Serie A this season.
alienzen, its because when a club does as well as Napoli in one season, people dont expect success. Theyve come from nowhere. Their team is leagues better than madrid this year. 3 of the remaining 8 clubs are italian, & they are 18 points clear in the serie A. Experience in Europe is one thing, but just being outright better is another.
@@johnfrankster3244 League form doesn't mean Championsleague success. Leicester City won the premiere league easily, but no one expected them to win the Championsleague. Chelsea, Real Madrid and LIverpool have won Championsleauges while playing poorly in the league. Manchester City broke the record for the most points in a Premiere League season, but didn't win it.
We need a lot of things to go on our favor. Bayern, Madrid, city are stronger. Napoli maybe as well but I hope that the history of Milan encourages this team to play their heart out against Napoli because they are the 7x champions league winners
I'm gutted to know that Kvara doesn't get to travel to the Bernabeau at any point this season, where both his idols Ronaldo and Guti became immortalised.
That’s probably a good thing, cause you know he’s gonna wanna put on a show and impress Perez to get a move here and in turn play lights out and then we get knocked out by Napoli lol.
Any team is beatable, but Napoli arent leading the serie A by a 15 point margin by chance. Theyre incredibly dominant this year, & a team i thoroughly have enjoyed watching. I wish I could say the same for Juventus being the actual club i support…
I really hope that is the final. Would be an absolute cracker. Napoli have been so dominant this year its absurd, in both Europe & Italy, & city with Haaland on the day are just a scary team to face.
They do but as a Milan fan i hope Milan advances. If napoli beats Milan i will be cheering for napoli to win it even though i think real, bayern, city are stronger.
Then there's Chelsea. Having a poor season prevents them from being favorites. Their history in UCL knockout games throughout this last 2 decades doesn't make them underdogs either.
@@Chip_Fuse Chelsea were 5th in the betting odds going into this draw, being Napoli in 4th. But there was not much in it. So they are not far off. After the draw napoli are 2nd, behind City.
Igor you say that out of ignorance. You don’t realise how good Napoli are this year. They are 18 points clear in a league with 3 italian teams in the quarters. Ive watched the games Ive seen the highlights Imo the only team in the other group that matches them is City(im hoping that will be the final). Chelsea suck this year & they trial Totenham on the ladder by a chunk, who just got knocked out by another one of your underdog teams. Madrid are also nothing special. Bayern are solid, but not as good without lewandowski & have definately not looked as good as Napoli. Doesnt mean that much, but the last game they had against Frankfurt they drew 1-1, Napoli went through on aggregate 5-0. Previous champions league experience is always helpful. But to go as far as to say all the “underdogs in one group” is highly ignorant.
@@johnfrankster3244 Football is unpredictable, and on any day a worse team can beat a better team. Totenham may be 4th in the premiere league, but outisde the top 3 teams there is not much in it. They could finishe anywhere from 4th to 10th at the end of the season. They lost 1-0, and Arsenal are clear at the top of the table but lost against a far inferior team in the Europa League. Napoli could win, as any team could. But they are still underdogs.
