I think Romania and Holland are both unlucky ;) In the WC we were in the 'group of death' too (with Serbia, Argentina and Ivory Coast) though that was peanuts compared to this, lol. Would be cool if Romania and Holland both went through instead of Italy and France! We didn't do very well in the Euro qualifiers, but we did beat Croatia 3-0 the other day so I guess we're on a good way ;)
Romania can only fail in group C against Italy. Italy has a playing style that makes Romanians sick. The others can be beaten with a little bit of luck. I think Italy will win the group. The second place is reserved for Romania. France and Netherlands are good teams but I am sure they'll only get the third and fourth place, respectively. They are strong but out of form.
Germany and Poland from group B. Poland played nice in qualifications (2:1 and 2:2 with Portugal) and Germany - well they play great in every tournament
I know, I know... everyone think they'll win the competition, but not just that you think that, you're somehow pretty sure of it, just like some of my Croatian buddies, some of them might not have a clue about football, and some of them are just very BIG fans, that's all. You or anyone else can't claim anything with certainity. You say you're hungry, but you're not the only one, we all are! And some of us will stay hungry, that's how it goes... Oh, and one more thing -- there are no easy groups.
@weatherallc05 yep, no doubt that year there will be very less gasp for france and italy... in 2008 everybody was thinking poor holland. the 2 december of this year, every1 gasping for holland spain and germany. euro 2012, 3 favorites, and 13 underdogs for reach the final four :(

Anyway, I agree with you, Germany is not England, but something else I wanted to point out: Just because Croatia is "relatively unknown", it doesn't mean that they deserve no respect. I'm just saying that you should respect your opponnent, whoever that is. Anyhow, individual opinion (disrespect) doesn't matter.

Funny how everyone underestimated France in the 06 world cup. Yet they fared pretty well. Once again theyre being put down and thats the way these players like it. Italy will also pass, theyre the WC champs and are a strong team.
Nice prediction, but only one thing is not good. Croatia have beaten Italy every time they played. Same case last year (2:0 for Croatia), right after the World Cup. Why do you think we would lose against Italy?

I guess so, the dutch have fallen a lot since 2004, given their poor showing in World Cup 2006, their troubles against serbia and Cote d'Ivoire, then losing against Portugal.

MACPHARLAIN please, the great french team that couldnt score against the scots are in the EURO. I dont see Scotsland anywhere in these groups. And i couldnt care less if most of the French players have foreign backgrounds. Truth is they were born in France and went through French academys. Therefore i believe they are French.
