welcome to europe man :D, as an AEK Athens huge fan the team has got a rebirth last season because of our new manager, 2021-22 AEK is like a different team...we got knocked out in july the previous years in conference league, so we really were shit in europe, but on the other hand brighton's first game wasnt really that bad I expected them to win but i guess that match was alright

As an AEK fan who is watching Premier League football passionately i'm over the moon for our big win against Brighton and this is just because of all these you've achieved the last 3 years, it is incredible. love the highlights videos where the commentators' audio is set slightly lower so you can hear the energetic roars from the stands. The fact that AEK fans being away from home but still cheering as loud as Brighton fans.. is incredible. There was a COPA90 Stories documentary on AEK ultras... made me fall in love with the fan culture aspect of the game.

It isn't an insult I think there is a cultural barrier here. In England to steal the win doesn't refer to cheating or winning unjustly in this context. It simply means to claim the victory in a time that could be considered the dying moments. He meant no harm by it.

AEK Athens played as a champion of Grecce. They know Brighton well also know for sure the style to deal with. They played physically & mentally strong. Very smart at set pieces, a typical playing style like Atletico Madrid or Juventus.

Congratulations AEK Athens for your victory. It is crazy, Brighton defeated Manchester United at Old Trafford but they couldn't get the victory at home with a team that is supposedly weaker. I hope Brighton can improve their performace for the next UEL game!

I had to repeat the first goal. Thought my eyes were broken for a second. That headed goal had a power of a volley. Damn! Hope Brighton turns it around with the remaining games in UEL. Arsenal fan here but gotta admit I definitely love watching Brighton play.

He said it was a great header but he probably didn't target to send the ball to that exact spot of the goalpost. So, in a way, he considered that lucky too. If the opponent plays better, there's no shame in admitting it. We know what a great team Brighton is and what they have achieved in PL, which makes us AEK fans even prouder of this victory. But there's no reason to underestimate the opponent's fair victory with silly comments like that. We need to be fair with everything and everyone. It was also annoying for us that Brighton equalized twice with two silly, unnecessary penalties but they were fair and they had to be given so we have no right to complain about it just like Brighton's coach had no reason to complain that the result was not fair. Primary Causes of the defeat 1.Igol was even refusing to turn to the left side. 2.Estupinyan, mitoma, and fati were creating congestion in the play area. 3.They can’t get the ball when they want it; the passes come in only at the toughest moments.

You forgot one main cause.....Brighton lack of European comp experience.....except for Milner😊 De Zerbi have European comp experience.....but for most of the players.....nada. Mitoma looked shaky and imo it felt like he was desperate to score his 1st Europa debut goal........no matter how much fans want to keep syaig that he is humble......nah.....even once in a while for all his dribbling thesis...it would mount nothing if he could not prove it at the top European comp level....😂😂 This final Europa format will differ to next season when the new UEFA format kicks in......the modified swiss model.... Brighton players and fans went into the comp thinking they would breeze through the champion of greece......mate.....all these other teams are from smaller domestic leagues....have to go through additional playoffs prior to Europa and Conference and UCL matches......they definitely are ore in form and have better european experience.. Stay humble seagulls.......dont fall down to arrogance.
@@myownlilbubble it's not because we lack European experience, we did dominated the game in our home but individual mistakes like against West Ham this season costs us the game. Playing against Greek champs is just like playing top Championship side, remember we are able to keep up against the treble winners, destroyed United, destroyed the conference league winners last season, destroyed Liverpool and Chelsea which are 10x harder than AEK Athens who won goals mostly from setpieces.
youll recover from this brighton, a few jitter goals were from set piece, that is your glaring witness. they must have seen your game against west ham. that is the only thing you need to really improve on set-piece defense.
