***** I mean, 14 seconds...that's great and all. But that much money for only what the most 30 minutes of viewing time. I'd rather have to pay for a full fight card that all goes to decision than a minute KO in every fight. It's all preference. But I think I'm speaking for the majority of people when I say we watch these fights for entertainment and not for watching "tremendous record breaking performances". I can see that at SeaWorld with Shamu.
***** It's true though, I don't pay $70+ for a single fight... if the card is an A+ then i will pay money but usually 2 or 3 of us get together and we each pitch in $20 to $30. I'm never paying the full $60 ($70 for HD) for a single PPV unless it has the best fucking card imaginable. $70 for 14 seconds is not worth it. The card I am buying though is the Jones vs Johnson / Weidman vs Belfort... those 2 fights are worth $30 each.

No fan should have to research ANYTHING because if the FIGHT is worth it, the sponsors will do itself in forms of advertisements, video highlights, open workouts, open interviews, and pre-post conferences. You said yourself this fight was extremely advertised. This means a lot of people were looking towards this fight, and looking to be OVERALL entertained. I never said I WASN'T ENTERTAINED. But if I had to choose to fuck a girl, wouldn't you want someone thats more experienced (last longer)?
***** DJ vs Barao was NOT unpredictable... DJ is fast and more resilent than Barao. Barao (esp from his previous fights) grow slower as the match progresses. DJ is known (at least in Cali and Team Alpha Male) to have insurmountable stamina. Barao doesn't have much of a stopping power besides his kicks. DJ doesn't either but he can go the distance. Stats dont prove anything but knowing the figther and how he fights (which is not illustrated in stats) make a huge difference in the outcome.
This is bullshit weak main card, do us all a favor @UFC sign Cyborg , and do whatever it takes to have her make 135, I'm sick of watching Rousey expose this division , If Cyborg hits Ronda game over P.S sorry to those who payed for this shit

Dana has created a weight class for Ronda, then created a weight class for Namajunas (who lost), so why not create a weight class for Cyborg? And then make a fight between her and Rousey in combined weight!!
Women's 145 is extremely shallow. Yes, Ronda is the #1 reason why the 135 division exists in the UFC, but it wouldn't exist if there wasn't at least a handful of other fighters that could be seen as competition for her. Looking at it now it doesn't seem that anyone can compete, but at the time the division started they at least had 5-6 that they believe had a chance. That doesn't exist at 145 and who knows how long it would be before it gets deep enough.
***** I know plenty about 115 and it is probably the most talent rich division in WMMA. 145 was quite deep at one point in time, but is no longer any where near as deep as 135.
Ronda vs Cyborg is the only interesting fight in WMMA, but Cyborg can't make 135 and Ronda has no reason to go up in weight, so I guess Ronda should go shoot some movies and the rest of the women should go fight in Invicta until at least a few of them reach a skill level other than crap.
Based on this fight Zingano is a can. She rushed Ronda to the ground in the first minute where 99% of Ronda's wins have come by sub. She should fire her coach.
Jesus Rios I agree. They consist of one decent fighter and that's Rousey. Other girls are there just to fill up the hole, so she can beat somebody up every few months.
I will not be surprised if she did the same to a male MMA fighter in her division. It is no about strength, Cat Zingano is stronger than Ronda, but Ronda has mind boggling technique.

If a guy was as dominant as Ronda's been he'd jump up in weight class. Ronda can't jump up in weight and no one in her class can compete with her. She's in a tough situation.

Ronda Rousey is just too good for her weight class. It's becoming mundane to see many of her fights ending in the first round. The only person who I see that have even the slightest chance of beating her is Cyborg.
I hate that so many people can't just accept that Ronda really is just this good. These women that she is destroying are good fighters and some of them are actually very good, but Ronda is just on another level. Her technique is SO flawless that it takes just 1 minor mistake for the fight to end. Unfortunately for Cat she was over aggressive coming out and made that mistake just a couple seconds into the fight.
Another proof that WMMA is weak as shit. Rousey, the only decent fighter next to Cyborg, will take advantage of that and build her career by beating up cans and go down as a legend in the process. Just like Ortiz and all those guys did 10 years ago, who would get spanked around by any top 10 guy in his prime. I actually feel sorry for those who bought the PPV. How much are UFC PPVs in the US? In the UK you pay a monthly subscription for a channel and all UFC is on that at no extra charge plus lots of other sports.

Ronda fine ass, getting better and better in the ring, just did some research on this cyborg Chic and she tough but her ground game wouldn't match up with Ronda, her judo is extremely solid. Cyborg got a hard ass right but not enough to take that belt.

Cat triyng to mimic the move of Makwan Amirkhani againts Andy Ogle. How many times I here that the key to beat Rousey is keep the distance, but she didn't do it. How ever if that knee hit Ronda face maybe she could become in the new champion but a lot of people like myself would think that was a fluke. Rousey is better by far but i think in the future she is gonna have a big fight that it's gonna be force to dig deep, I don't think she's gonna lose but she must have that big war, every great champion has it.
