I will say this. I've seen more how he thinks and his personality this fight than any other fight. There have been some great interviews and I feel he has come into his own, and well deserved. I also appreciate the relationship he has with his brother. I have two sons and I hope they have the same level of respect and loyalty these two have.

True story: 2007 Las Vegas Nevada a friend and I went to check out the Red Rock casino (it’s not on the strip). Making our way back to the parking lot we got lost in the pool area and walked by none other than Dana White. My friend lost his mind started saying you’re Dana White blah blah blah. So Dana stopped a conversation he was having got up and talked with us for a minute asked where we were from we told him Sacramento he replied oh man what about your hometown boy right now killing it we both said yeah nates going to be a beast. I added the little brother usually is. Dana’s response was no not Nate, Urijah we were both shocked. Fight fans know urijah dominated the wec during this time and ufc didn’t have a division for him. I think back to that interaction every time a Nate Diaz fights coming. Nate has never been truly valued or respected by the company he works for its sad he’s a true warrior. #diaz #209 #represent
