Dana looks so disappointed that Chandler has lost. Now he'll have to go through the pain of promoting a champ that doesn't speak english again lmao. Great fight though, both Chandler and Olivera have many great fights in the future. Very excited for the lightweight division.
its a miracle that the ref didn't stop the figth early just to let chandler win the way the promo and everything was going they clearly wannet him to win
Chandler choked / punched/ through Charles backwards / pinned him to cage on the ground .....did everything he could Oliveira comes back and it's over .....that's a champion
Let's see you go up against him considering he is ranked 4th best in his weight class 😂 Michael has a huge chance of taking him. It's especially hard when his legs are along as him even then he keep him down. He gonna take the top Soon
I have a would-you-rather question for Dana: A) Catch all the illegal streamers. B) Ban all questions pertaining to Jake Paul/Triller You get to pick one, Dana...
We are SO lucky to have the UFC and Dana White. I mean, there will never be another Dana White. You know how hard it is to speak like he does, in our new politically correct world? He has bosses too, that have billions of dollars, and global power. And Dana obviously doesn't care what his bosses think, he just speaks his opinion. We really are watching the Golden Age of the UFC. Don't take it for granted, this is the most exciting time in UFC history.
I'm now convinced that it's over for Tony Ferguson, three consecutive losses in a row, he's done being a force to be reckoned with in the lightweight division.
@@ives3572 sure looks like it, but that doesnt change me at all, will always be a tony fan win or lose that man literally took years off his life for our entertainment throughout his career, least i can do is support him until he retires
It's really funny how things can change so damn fast in the blink of an eye in MMA. It looked like Chandler was going to finish Oliveira; that is, until Chandler was the one who got finished by Oliveira. I'm now convinced that it's over for Tony Ferguson, three consecutive losses in a row, he's done being a force to be reckoned with in the lightweight division.
@@HelloThere-uh3ll justin is easily the scariest short notice fight. olivera is now champ. beneil is on fire Tony might never fight for a title , however to say anybody could have predicted this downfall your crazy
@Jerrel Nelson his coach literally deserves credit for gaethje's striking. Look what gaethje's coach do to usman. He coached usman telling him he has nice jab and then usman knocks out Gilbert and masvidal. Justin got the right coach.
@@MrMeatshot that division is loaded. Its possible that belt gets passed around quite a bit the next few years. Maybe oliveria is really good and will hold onto it for a couple defenses but honestly he could lose it on his first defense. There are 10 killers in that division. Even if chandler won he might not even defend it once before losing it. Its a stacked division and even non title fights are marquee. Like mcgregor vs porier. Chandler vs gaethje would be exciting. There are great non title matchips to be had ans grwat title fighrs as well
I think the problem with Tony is not his age. The sport caught up with him, fighters are training smarter and getting better while he hasn't changed one bit. Every one of his last 3 opponents trained to fight against Tony while Tony just trained.
That looked nothing like Tony Ferguson. He wasn't doing anythin. Just steep push kicking to keep Beneil off him. He was gun shy, no take down defense. That looked nothing like Tony Ferguson 2 years ago. So it's a lot to do with age and punishment he's taken.
@NAMELESS INTERNET ADDICT It'll take 6 months just to heal his heel/ACL/leg. It'll take another 6 months for him to get back into fighting shape. He's not getting any younger, and the CTE is definitely showing. Which is severely impacting his speed and performance. He really does need to retire.
The Dana White post interview is one of the best parts of the whole UFC event IMO! Love it! If it’s a night of amazing fights, he’s smiling and approaches questions with a pinch of salt! When it’s a bad night of fights, he approaches the questions with pure sea salt! 🤣
@@michael43567 they want english speakers is bs.... Aldo was a champion and didn't speak at all english and still at that time the ufc was promoting him crazy.... Yan, weili, anderson Silva at the beginning, andrade ecc... A lot of champions are non english speakers and they still promote them if they have an exciting fighting style
Ya if Tony is allowed a 12 fight win streak I don't care if he goes on a 12 fight looking streak I'm still watching Tony!!! Hope he wins his next fight!!??
Shout out to Tony for the 75k bonus raise, Extremely bummed Tony lost, but Beneil did not deserve the boos, fought a smart fight, respect to both/all fighters that fought tonight
Peoples who boo Beneil probably don’t know that Beneil totally dominate the fight and sent Tony to hospital to fix the leg and may end Tony career . Beneil has proved that he is in top 5 .
@@lecookie007 I like how Dana has been calling him a cokehead idiot for like 10 years, and then Oscar comes out and proves him right. The guy is a clown.
No Tony is done.! He may go down the Cowboy track though.? Sad really. El Cuckoo if he keeps fighting. He has no fundamental knockout power via any of his fundamentals. The Justin beating finished him. Khabib said it day one but it seems nobody gets that.
It was so awesome to see how excited Charles Oliveira was when he won the title. 10+ years of hard work and he's now Lightweight Champion of the world. Never give up on your dreams. How long do you think he holds the title for?
@@SemajResarf You're fucking stoned if you think Justin is taking the belt from Olivera. The dude has the WORST fucking ground game in the division, BY FAR. Charlie Olives fucking eats Justin. Dustin vs Olivera would be a solid fight tho, but I still see Olives taking the W.
@@SemajResarf Justin ain’t got shit for Charles, horrible ground game. Dustin or Conor might stand a chance because they’re both hard hitters with decent ground games
@@Meatdevil yup....and if you notice All The Fighter's Go All out to Earn the 75k bonus ... It's A win2 Situation. For UFC ...they Have A exciting Event bacause All the Fighter want to Tko each other rather than wins by decision etc.UFC will pull a massive New Fan base
Back when khabib said after ufc 249 Tony's loss to Brett during interview that "Tony's done and after taking so much damage, no one will ever be the same even if you're ferguson", I doubted him but what he said is absolutely proving to be true. Tony is never the same since the loss against Justin and its painful to see him lose 3 continous fights in such one sided fashion
@@shiningheart23 hes done. This WAS an easy fight. How is he gonna compete against khabib when he cant even get Darius off of him? No coming back from that Ass whooping he got from gaethje
Fortune favors the brave, Chandler went for it but he he crapped out. He will be back and until then, we can celebrate a great performance from Olivera.
@Jimmy Hopkins bro go back and watch all his interviews from when he beat Hooker, dude was talking more about Conor akd Khabib than Oliveira. Maybe you're just ignorant.
Uncle Fester on steroids seems happy. Congrats to Dana too, for real. He's running this company well. Things could be even better but let's face it, UFC is the best fighting organization in the world.
Shane Burgos ko was scary af, tough sob, his heart said “no we ain’t going down” but his body said otherwise, he seemed good afterwards so, Fight of the night well deserved
As far as pay-per-view events go, we have Adesanya vs Vittori 2 next with Nate vs Edwards and Figueiredo vs Moreno 2 in the card🤯And then!! You have Mcgregor vs Poirier 3 with Wonderboy vs Burns as co-main🤯🤯 UFC is killing it!!
Seeing Chandler go down with the same left he did Hooker was just so surreal. Been rooting for Oliveira since the Kevin Lee fight and couldn’t help but feel so proud for him. 🙏🏼
Tony's first fight I saw was him Vs Barboza and what a fight that was. Instantly became a fan. It's sad to see Tony's career come to an end like this but few fighters have a happy retirement, it is what it is.
I feel sorry for tony was in 12 fight win streak and now he's getting old but there still putting him against killers he should have had title shot many years ago when he was in his prime times caught up with him I stoll respect him no matter what
The way the next few fights should go: Justin Gaethje VS Michael Chandler Winner fight Dariush. Dustin Poitier VS Conor McGregor Winner fights Oliveira.
honestly, thank you dana for keeping everyone employed and keeping the ufc entertainment over the pandemic. belator and all the other sports organisations, all bitched out and dana was right all along.. thanks for the last year and a half of fights.
Dana to the UFC embedded team: "let's promote the good looking American kid with the big flashy muscles more than the other guy - I think he'll be a more marketable champion." Olivera: "i think I'll go ahead and be the ACTUAL champion." 😁
The most impressive performance of UFC 262 for me was Andrea Lee's triangle choke submission victory on Antonina Shevchenko. That was a pretty slick submission on a very good fighter.
@@iNeed2.p he’s number two ranked, Poirier is fighting Conor, Charles just beat Chandler, Gaethje was the interim champ it should be Gaethje for the title, Beneil v Michael makes a lot more sense right now for a guy on a 7 fight win streak to prove how good he is against killers
@Milind Kunwar that’s what I was saying though, Charles might want a quick turn around instead of waiting on others, Gaethje is ready now so it could happen in 3 months because Poirier v Conor would likely want 3+ months after their fight for another
Hey Dana! When us fans are purchasing the card we should be able to choose which fighter is the reason we are ordering the fight and have them get a percentage of our purchase
He cant personally ask millions of people who they wanna see on the card. That's a stupid ass idea. People that dont even fight complain about a fighters pay 🤣
