Man, Shavkat is such a silent beast. He’s so calm and laidback, no unnecessary bs, but you can just tell he’s a killer. Kazakh killer from the mountains who grew up with fighting, horse meat and none of that Western spoiledness. I also love that he speaks Kazakh and not Russian in his interviews. My ex was Kazakh and I used to talk so highly of him to her even tho she couldn’t care less about MMA 😂

he reminds me of a guy at my muay thai gym. the guy is all enthusiasm, speaks the lingo, makes a big show of being the team player... he does everything 'right' but there doesn't seem to be substance behind it. I dunno how to explain. like a kind of childishness like he is enthusiastically doing what is expected of him, even if he doesn't know why. the guy sucks btw. heavy smoker, no cardio, zero athleticism or speed or technique after years of training... at least bryce walks the walk and does lots of good things

As an arm chair quarterback, I think Tony needs more strength training in his late 30s. His focus, drive, grit, cardio, and skills are still there... but he seems to be getting manhandled more easily these days (like the Oliveira fight). I can see Paddy overpowering him in grappling exchanges and forcing him down just from a size and strength difference.

Paddy is big dude hes like 170 of camp sometimes ballon to 200lbs its mad.tony got manhandled by skinny olives and chandler took him down with just one single leg takedown
