I’m not really sure what the gameplan was for costa. His style should’ve matched up really well to someone like Strickland, who doesn’t fight well when he’s backing up. Costa normally marches forward and swings like a madman.

I am so not an expert at this stuff but... that Strickland guy has got a hunter seeker focus I can adopt for my own endeavors. Nothing to do with physical fighting. I feel like I can see the invisible; his mental. It's written all over his face and his body language. Truly impressive. Haven't watched the fight til the end yet, but even if he doesn't win, he has impressed me.

Good observation it’s spot on. These are intangibles that you can’t learn in the gym. If you can see it and feel it thru the TV. You better believe his opponent can too. I’m a huge Diaz bro fan. Strickland has a lot of similarities. He’s dialed in always. Cracking the mental piece of this game and sport is prop the hardest part

I had Strickland rounds 1,2, 3, 5 and Costa for a very close round 4. Strickland made him look amatuer but bro needs to push the pace and mix it up badly. His style is effective but isnt convincing to judges, especially for this fight and the dricus fight.

Very close fight, Sean won but if you ignore body language and optics Paulo had Sean hurt a few times but didn't realize it but again very close fight, ignore the stats. Significant strikes... When did Sean land a single "significant" strike, jab, jab, teeth kick.

I had it 4-1 for Sean, but he does leave these rounds way too close when it looks like he has the ability to separate himself more. I think the judge who had it 4-1 Costa was def off, but a few of those rounds were really close and depending what you're looking for I can kinda understand giving some to Costa

True no doubt. And also the way Strickland fights, Costa should try to catch him off guard to then try to blitz him sometimes and also yeah footwork could set up blitz too. Between these two Costs is the more agile and quicker moving fighter for sure.
