Izzy is 3-1 against Alex. The first kickboxing fight was a robbery decision. The 2nd kickboxing fight was pretty much rigged with the standing 8 count. Anyone who actually watched those fights agrees. The only fight that Pereira “won” was the 1st MMA fight where he was saved by the bell. Pereira is just this giant guy that KOs guys who are way smaller than him. He should be fighting heavyweight because he has a heavyweight frame.

Even if Alex is 1 and 1 in UFC Izzy refuses to fight him so he left and achieved greater things while Izzy got punked by Sean. Stop acting like it’s comparable. Alex achieved greatness in kickboxing and now the UFC and a double champ pushing to fight heavyweight even. He earned respect unlike Izzy he lost his.

Also he lost it Strickland because of the unorthodox Philly shell and pressure Strickland applies and it’s the perfect counter to Izzy’s one dimensional kick boxing style. Stricklands style removed Izzy’s kicking which then made Izzy a sitting duck.

I believe Alex stays ready in fighting condition at all times. He never turns down a fight and seems to have a plan for his life after hanging the gloves up. He's already said he's 36 he doesnt know how much longer he's gonna be fighting. You can tell he's trying to make that money fast so he can retire and live the good life. He will KO Jiri in the first round this time!

I agree with you,have 2 scenarios.. Either Alex start more aggressive to put Jiri on the back foot , maybe attempt take down also to make a statement.. Or Jiri more patient and careful which will give more opportunities to Alex for significant strikes and eventually a knockout out,1-3 rounds

Both guys are fresh winter on this division. But also Im Czech a must say that Alex have more chance than Jiri. Respect fot both that take this chance with small time for preparation.

And as we have seen against Rakic he really didn't change much from first Pereira fight. He was still getting pieced up with leg kicks, only problem for Rakic was he lacked Pereira's power or it would've been finished very quickly. Jiri is going for flash KO to avoid leg damage and Pereira will lure him in once again and brutally KO him in 1st round.

If jiri fights smart like, manages to secure takedown ,land on ground on pound, make him tired then he has chance but if he becomes careless and fight hands down then alex is gonna ko jiri i guess. But jiri is wild man and he can get a knockout too
