@@Culcacculpoilculcris no they didn’t lol Jon hit lyoto with a straight cross to the face once lyoto got tired which rocked him and Jon kept the pressure on after that. Lyoto confirmed that. He got tired and slowed down and bam. After that he was fatigued and saw three Jon jones in front of him. There was zero figuring out lyotos blitz. Lyoto simply is too skilled at striking, hits to fast and hard with combos with amazing foot work and head movement. There’s no figuring out lyoto’s blitz because he isn’t timing it or looking for an opening, he just blitzes when he feels like it because there is nothing you can do to stop it.

this fight shows that anyone can fight with john until he gets a hold of you, and even tho hes dumb outside the ring, hes smart in, unlike how a lot fighters lose to their own iq or their corners he can always adjust and fight intelligently, im not a fan but cant hate on his performances yk

I mean it's a guard used in Muay Thai to avoid the elbows that would come through a regular shell. Jon happens to have attributes that make it even more effective so yeah good on him for actually making the most out of it.

Please bring back fighters being able to wear what they like. Or just a more customizable uniform. It was so much more pleasing and gave each fighter a branded feel. The whole every guy dresses the same has just ran its course.
