Damn benoits mindset is another level dude. He used to go to die while in spec ops quite literally. With that mindset of no fear even of death it's scary
They are not mentioning that later, Elizeu Zaleski Dos Santos has been handed a one-year suspension by the United States Anti-Doping Agency after testing positive for ostarine.
Yes. They never tell it. All Brazilian (and urssian) fighterd used Dopage and have the best medic. Bsd said that Dos santos did not react as a normal human being when he was hit...
Benoits loss he took at a weight class up in his debut is the most warrior performance I’ve ever seen. Never seen someone show as much heart as he did in that fight. Truly insane. Dudes a savage
@@robertcordova7465 Lol France is literally the country with the most military victories in history. You guys struggle against Vietnam and Afghanistan.
You gotta admit these special forces guys are a different breed...then I read up about his wife Laura...futsal player champ, dog trainer, shooting instructor in the police and first frech female officer to do the SWAT training... studying for a Master's degree and he's also Benoit's agent!... man oh man.
Well he's up against one of the toughest and most talented fighters in UFC history. All his special forces history won't matter once he's locked inside the cage with Dustin Poirier.
Dos Santos was caught 3 months later for steroids, only reason it wasnt changed to a no-contest are the rules in Abu Dhabi, anywhere else it would have been a no-contest!
BSD is the French Tim Kennedy, except Tim was fighting while still an active special forces solider. Which in my opinion may have been the reason he never won a title. To be champ it’s gotta be your only concern
Saint-Denis is the next big thing in UFC, at last after crazy monkeys like Conor. Real dudes. His coach Daniel Woirin is a legend (the "Didier Deschamps of MMA"), former Anderson Silva, Dan Henderson, Lyoto Machida's striking coach. Muay Thaï specialist.
Why is there no mention of Dos Santos being on streroids and getting caught for it for BSN only defeat? It should get reverse, the brazilian wans't feeling anything, he was on all sorts of steroids and drugs He should be at 0 loss
@@JediJai Depends on the country and federation. In France it could even be counted as a win for Saint-Denis because the rules on doping are strict, in the rest of the world it would be a no-contest. it's only in abu-dabhi that this doesn't apply.
Don't get why they don't say it but on the dos anjos fight it was revealed on later time that dos anjos actually used performance enhancing products before the fight...
That guy's bigger, taller, more experienced, in a division up from BSD's 155 and he's also on drugs... so it's actually extraordinary that BSD's debut fight was just a decision loss... in a short notice fight, too. Dustin is an actual elite; but BSD is just too big and powerful, too prime for the aging great veteran, who also just suffered a horrific head KO loss. Dustin COULD win; but the probability isn't that great. Ilia Tuporia's boxing is nowhere on the same level as Dustin's boxing; but again, at 35+ years of age, at the MOST skilled, most competitive division.... Dustin's elite boxing may not be enough... because in addition to BSD's very good striking and kicking, his Judo, wrestling, and BJJ are way better than Dustin's .... and BSD's 7 years younger than Dustin... 3 to 4 too many advantages BSD has over the great veteran...
The more shit like this y'all put out the better . Embedded and countdown aren't enough . I think you should do videos like this for all the unranked fighters and stuff as well . Be a lot more invested in fights if we knew the fighters better
Benoit St. Denis was literally in the French Special forces. Initially I just thought he was part of a French police unit. Dude was legit. Can't wait to see him fight Dustin Poirier. Tbh, as tough as Benoit is I think Dustin Poirier might be a bit too much for him. I get it he was a French commando but that means nothing in the UFC. Tim Kennedy was a Green Beret and he crumbled when he met elite guys like Romero and Gastelum. Dustin is a dog and has been in there with the best of the best.
Damn I feel bad for Dustin, he seems like a really nice guy. I feel like Dana is trying to end Dustin in revenge for ending Conor. This is by far the worst possible match up for Dustin at the moment, and here we are about to witness Dustin get killed :(
