O’Malley as weak in punching power is a crazy hot take. I’m not a big fan of him, but that’s absurd. Only about 7 minutes in right now, and everyone in the mid category does not have a clean one shot KO. Sean’s KO over Wineland had him looking into the gates of heaven, and almost every fight he makes somebody take a seat. Although he didn’t knock Yan down, he wobbled him majorly, and he’s a hard guy to hurt
Islam 1 punched ko’d gleison tibeou or however you spell it. And the guy also said Alex is the best because his power Carrie’s over from 185 to 205 even tho he’s a 6’6 240lb man.. like Tyson fury is supposedly 6’9 and Alex stood next to him and wasn’t really smaller.. he might be 6’7..
And… further on in the video he put Justin gaethje in mid… when gaethje is super powerful… he just doesn’t hit ppl on the chin. He breaks their faces and if he does touch their chin they die. Look at Fiziev face… he was beat with sledge hammers… if it was any where near the chin or jaw line he would’ve died

There's a few times when Alex throws a left hook and I'm like ain't no way that's got power and he just puts people to sleep on command. He's literally in his own tier
justin and charles at mid but gane and khamzat and especially sergei where they r is insane, gane's best shot is spamming back of the head, sergei puts people on the ground with flurries then follows up and khamzat has the meershat ko and that's it

Strongly agree. Between Gaethje being at mid with having a KO over Barboza where the punch barely hit him, and a few other flatlines is crazy. O’Malley bring at weak is insane to in comparison to the rest of his division

The fluid between his brain and skull has no time to rehydrate thus he has no chin there. 4 months after being KOd by Izzy he took Jan Blachowich's power quite well. And yes Izzy has KO power, his punching is simply garbage, can't throw a punch without telegraphing it a mile away, reason why Izzy couldn't touch Strickland while Alex easily KOd him round 1.

Just like I heard someone say a while ago, he's the Poirier of HW lmao but yh, Sergei's power is heavily overrated. Lewis, that new cuban heavyweight guy, & Jairzinho all hit harder. Sergei does drop ppl with jabs tho, so that's interesting. I won't count Tuivasa tho cause he came back like 2 months later after suffering his first KO against Gane.
The categories should've been pillow hands, OK, Mid, KO power, & Insane power. That's my opinion tho. I like this channel, recently found it but O'Malley definitely has KO power seems like you either don't remember or haven't watched that many of his fights. Look what he did to Paiva (he's a zombie), Wineland walk-off KO, Moutinho (who has a good chin) dropped him first rd, then when the fight ended it looked like a horror scene. Retired Thomas Almeida. Drops ppl in almost every fight & most when they feel his power look at their facial expressions, n how he drops or stops them. Gaethje's power comes from god, & his technique, technique being even scarier, cause with good technique comes even more power. Put Oliveira at KO as well for simply how easily he dropped Gaethje who has a granite chin even today with all the dmg he's took. KOed Dariush who had a good chin (definitely has a glass chin now, sadly) he's also in the conversation as hardest hitter at LW. This power decrease happened from him not fighting at his weight class I think Pereira is a natural LHW now & then 2 but could've also been a natural heavyweight as well. However cutting down to 3 weight classes throughout his career which decreased his power. Hill doesn't do that sh & the way Hill puts LHW's out cold or does them shows me he hits harder. Now if this was GKB Pereira I would have him over Hill rn but that isn't the case & I got Hill all day if they were to go toe-to-toe.

I think people mistake power with precision. Everybody at the pro level needs to have some level of strength. Hitting someone in the right spot will put them down, but maybe not put them away (Omalley for example). Like Strickland and Islam have power, but their technique and timing are lacking a little bit and most of the time dont go for KOs.

He put down Aljo MOVING BACKWARDS by just putting his right hand into his face He has a lot of flat KOs (against lower competition but still) Aljo has a great chin even Yan could only drop hom with his cleanest right hand while he wasn't moving backwards but stood his ground. O'malley also the only one i saw rocking Yan that badly. Izzy doesn't have power he has timing mainly. O'malley P4P hits harder. Sean is definitely not DeSean level in power. Khamzat KD on Burns isn't that impressive Burns is kinda chiny former 155er Khamzat is massive Burns is also weak to southpaw jabs. He KOd GM3 and that's his entire UFC power feat.
