Mike, I don’t think you were alone with the “how is Westin Wilson in the ufc” talk. His opponent was one of the worst fighters on the ufc roster, don’t expect armbar from the guard skill to scale up against actual talented fighters.

As a Perez fan, I definitely didn't want to see him lose in that way at all but Taira is a very talented and innovative youngster. Only a matter of time before he becomes Japan's first UFC champ.

It was an injury he caused. He was holding onto his wrist while pulling all his weight back forcing perez to hold him up on 1 leg. It was a real master class of grappling
