This man's story is something else. Someone said he stopped fighting after his kickboxing days.. Then when Izzy rose the ranks, and talked sh*t about him, he was motivated. Came back, and quickly came after him like an assassin. Plus he seemingly never smiles, and out of all UFC fighters, (don't want to assume) this man came from a tribe. From a tribe, to UFC champion. This man is the equivalent to how they built up that Russian dude in Creed I. He's massive, scary what he can accomplish because, he seemed to rise so quick as a casual, here and there fan, he got the title fight so quick.

@@strayy4121 Izzy only had 5 fights in th eUFC before fighting for the title. He beat Vettori on the way, but Vettori was only 2-1-1 in the UFC at the time. Strickland is a much better fighter at the time Alex fought him than Marvin was when Izzy fought him. Izzy beat an aged Anderson Silva who was 1-4-1 NC in his previous fights leading up to their matchup (and never won again) and Brunson was 2-3 in his previous fights. Im just saying, the way he moves looks like hes not good at this, which is stupid to say because hes one of the best, so they way he moves, is probably the best 😅

It must be so confusing to fight against someone who's main weapon is the closest thing to you physically because of his stance, a lot like Wonder Boy's kick because it's unsuspecting. Typically people will put their power shots behind a jab on the opposite hand, but his left hook is just 'out there' ready for action, it's hard to pull off too because it's hard to generate power behind punches like that
@iluvj00
@iluvj00 Год назад
It's literally how all them trainers tell you not to punch. LoL but he delivers it with enough power to knock em out. Imsgine if he charged them from behind and used the waist and hip and all that jazz .. would to serious damage
@reidavid8928
@reidavid8928 Год назад
@@iluvj00 And do you think he doesn't know that if he brings his arm behind him, it gives him more strength? but that's his technique so much and that people fall by force but the main factor is that people can't see why it's very fast that's why it's knocked out when you're waiting for the blow and it's different you can take a step back you can protect but that way with alex you even see it but there's no time it happened to sean he noticed but there wasn't time
