UFL Power Rankings Week 4 | 2024 

I feel less crazy seeing someone else out Michigan above St. Louis. It wasn’t Birmingham’s best game and they hadn’t settled on Martinez yet, but no one else has even deserved to be in the same stadium as Bham. St. Louis needs to stop the absolutely momentum killing defensive penalties to crack that top echelon.

My Takes of Week 3. I do believe this is the first time that UFL started airing on ABC (it's about time). Since there are only 4 games being played I wish that on Saturday 2 games would air on ABC and on Sunday the other 2 games would air on FOX (No games on ESPN or FS1). At this point Stallions are the clear front runner. Stallions are stacked at the QB position with Adrian Martinez, Matt Corral and J'Mar Smith. Very impressed with WR Deon Cain and TE Jace Sternberger looks like an NFL TE out there. Stallions also picked up former Pittsburgh Mauler kicker Chris Blewitt, who along with Michigan Panthers kicker Jake Bates, could see them in the NFL next year. Is Case Cookus becoming the Andrew Luck of the UFL? Was a smart move on Coach John DeFilippo to pull Cookus from the game in which there was no chance of winning. For the Panthers, keep E.J. Perry in the game and stop putting in Danny Etling, he adds nothing.

I agree about the Sea Dragons, it does not make sense coming back at this time. I do believe the UFL will head West once the UFL is established. I say the next phase for expansion bring back 4 teams. They would be the New Orleans Breakers, New Jersey Generals (play at Red Bull Arena), Austin Gamblers (Gamblers need to stay in Texas, look at that helmet. Gamblers could play at Q2 stadium, perfect size for them. Plus close to the other teams) and move the Guardians to Canton. Sorry XFL fans Guardians don't have fan support as we saw in New York and even worse in Orlando. Canton is hungry for a team and would welcome the Guardians. Move the Roughnecks back into XFL division (WHERE THEY BELONG). So the USFL Conference would be the Austin Gamblers, Birmingham Stallions, Memphis Showboats, Michigan Panthers, New Jersey Generals and the New Orleans Breakers. The XFL Conference would be the Arlington Renegades, DC Defenders, Houston Roughnecks, Ohio Guardians, San Antonio Brahmas, and the St. Louis Battlehawks, The next phase bring back 4 more teams and finish up in the East Coast and start heading West. In this phase the UFL will have 16 teams, 8 teams in the USFL Conference and 8 teams in the XFL Conference. The USFL Conference would have the North Division and South Division. The North Division would have the Michigan Panthers, New Jersey Generals, Philadelphia Stars and the Pittsburgh Maulers. The South Division would have the Austin Gamblers, Memphis Showboats, Birmingham Stallions, and the New Orleans Breakers. The XFL Conference would have the East and West divisions. The East Division would have the DC Defenders, Arlington Renegades, Houston Roughnecks, and the San Antonio Brahmas. The West Division would have the St. Louis Battlehawks, Ohio Guardians, Seattle Sea Dragons, and the Portland Vipers. Athon your thoughts????

Your rankings seems spot on. No arguments from me Roughnecks were clearly my disappointment of the week. After their performance in DC I thought they would take the lifeless Panthers. Well my Panthers got life again. They are going to beat San Antonio.

Finally a week of a functional offense for me to watch as a Panthers Fan again
