I have the Plans for the Liberation of the Island of Donkk, The Chemical Factory, The Lighthouse O.B. and Terminal Camodo which I've named "Operation Shoestring II". • The Ship's that are Earmarked for the Operation will meet up about 500 Meters to the Northeast of the Ring of Fire. As a Reminder the Ships are as Follows: • Iowa-class Battleship USS Iowa (BB-61). • Cleveland-class Light Cruiser USS Cleveland (CL-55). • Bayfield-class Attack Transport Ship USS Bayfield (APA-33) (Carrying the Troops Landing on the Island of Donkk). • Landing Ship Tank Mark 2 (LST(2)) LST-325 (Carrying the Tanks, Half-Tracks, Trucks and Various Vehicles for the Operation). • Crater-class Cargo Ship USS Murzim (AK-95) (Standard/Cargo Configuration Liberty Ship in U.S. Navy service Carrying Ammunition for the Fleet from 6 inch to 20 millimeter as she Historically did). • Liberty Ship SS Jeremiah O'Brien (Carrying Supplies and Equipment for the Troops Landing on the Island of Donkk). • Victory Ship SS American Victory (Carrying Supplies and Equipment for the Troops Landing on the Island of Donkk). • Once all the Ship's have Arrived, the Fleet will travel to the South-Southeast of the Island of Donkk and Take up their Positions. The Iowa and the Cleveland will be about 3 Kilometers from the Southern Coast of the Island of Donkk Providing a Preliminary Bombardment for the Troops as they make their way Ashore while the Bayfield Lowers her LCVP and LCM Mark 3 Landing Craft to Load the Troops Landing coming ashore in the First Wave. • When the First Wave of Troops is about 500 Meters away from the Coast (About 80 Seconds), Iowa and Cleveland will Fire off a Few Final Shots before Stopping to allow for the Troops to get Inland. The Fleet will then Move to the North-Northeast of Donkk to Prepare for the Second Wave of Troops. • As the Second Wave of Troops are Landing on the Northeastern Shores of Donkk, LST-325 can Move in to land her Vehicles and Equipment on the Island just to the East of Donkk. The Tanks and Other Equipment can then Move Towards Donkk to support the Troops as they Fight inland and Capture Donkk from the AI Forces. • Once Dreimor Airstrip is Captured as well as the Village of Dreimor and Terminal Spycakes, the Iowa and Cleveland can Meet up with the Murzim to top off their Ammunition though Iowa will need to head back to Playerbase Controlled Waters to replenish her Ammunition Stores for her 16 inch guns. At the Same time, Jeremiah O'Brien and American Victory can Start Unloading the Supplies and Equipment for the Drive East Towards Terminal Camodo. A Fleet with Reinforcements is still being Planned out as I'm Typing this up, but the Main Ships to be on the Lookout for are as Follows: • Cleveland-class Light Cruiser USS Columbia (CL-56). • Allen M. Sumner-class Destroyer USS Laffey (DD-724). • Fletcher-class Destroyers USS Cassin Young (DD-793) and USS Kidd (DD-661). • Cimarron-class Fleet Oiler USS Neosho (AO-23). • Crater-class Cargo Ship USS Lynx (AK-100) (Carrying a Landing Craft Tank Mark 6 (LCT Mark 6 or LCT 6) for the LST's). • Liberty Ship SS Albert M. Boe (Aka The Star of Kodiak, Boxed Aircraft Transport Configuration Liberty Ship Carrying P-38J Lightning Fighter-Bombers, A-20G Havoc Medium Bombers and PBY-5A Catalina Flying Boats for Dreimor Airstrip to support the Drive East Towards Terminal Camodo). • Liberty Ship SS Alan Seeger (Tanker Configuration Liberty Ship Carrying Aviation Gasoline for the Aircraft for Dreimor Airstrip). Also, While the Troops make their Drive East Towards Terminal Camodo, the SS Jeremiah O'Brien and SS American Victory can Start Cargo Container Runs to and From the Arctic at Terminal Spycakes. Once Terminal Camodo has been Captured, The Container Runs to the Arctic and Back will become an Occasional thing as most of the Runs will be from Terminal Spycakes to Terminal Camodo and Back.
